I wake up in my own bed. Flynn convinced me to go home around five yesterday. I didn't really feel like going home but he honestly made me. I'm serious. He picked me up and put me in my car but it was for good reasons. I was eating all of his food.

I don't want to go to school today. Last night, I decided to maybe step up my game in the looks department and curled my hair. I even set an alarm for earlier so I could do my make up and pick out a better outfit than just sweats. I don't know where this idea came from but I wanted to do it. Sadly, tired me doesn't like the idea and just wants to sleep.

I crawl out of bed and roll to my closet. The box I have of "someday" clothes is pretty big so hopefully I can find something I like. Just like I thought it doesn't take me long to find another outfit I was to insecure to wear in public but bought anyways. I shake my thoughts away and get dressed.

With a little bit more makeup added on my face today and a quick brush to my messy curls I'm done. I have a good ten minutes to spare before I usually leave. I take the chance to look at myself in the mirror. What was I worried about? I look great.

I walk downstairs with my bag on my back. Mom stops me as I pass the kitchen. She looks me up and down and I nervously bite my lip. I really don't want to change and I really don't have the time.

"You look gorgeous. Take my boots. It will look cute with your outfit," Mom says shocking me.

"Thanks Mom!" I smile giving her a small kiss on the cheek before putting on the shoes and leaving.

I get to school just in time. A couple people stare at me as I walk through the front doors. This is new. Maybe I shouldn't of done this. Everyone's eyes on me makes me feel gross again. A tap is placed on my shoulder and I turn around to see who it is. When I do I see a boy I haven't talked to in awhile.

"You look really pretty, Lily," Alan tells me, "almost as pretty as you looked this weekend at that party."

"I'm sorry. Did you see me there?" I ask not remembering bumping into him.

"I drove Flynn there," he says like it was obvious. "I complimented you then too. You know right before Flynn got jealous and made me leave."

"Oh um I'm sorry I forgot, but I don't think Flynn could get jealous over me," I admit feeling my cheeks get warmer.

An arm slings across my shoulder making me jump. Why do people do this? I turn and try to slap the person who touched me but stop when I see it's just Flynn. I feel like I've done this before.

"Excuse me miss, can I have the time? I'd check my watch but I can't take my eyes off you," Flynn whispers making me laugh.

"Piss off, Flynn," I say pushing myself away from him.

"I'm serious though what time is it?" He asks.

"Like 7:20," I shrug.

"To class!" He exclaims pushing me down the hall and away from Alan.

"We don't have the same first class," I remind him.

"So? I don't like everyone's eyes on you," he admits hiding his face from my view.

"Sorry. Did you want me to wear my amazing sweats instead?" I joke pointing to my outfit.

"Yes," he answers seriously.

"Do you not like these clothes on me?" I ask awkwardly walking next to him.

"No, I love them," he assures me, "I just liked it better when I was the only one staring at you."

"You stare at me?" I ask raising my eyebrows.

"What! No!" He lies obviously as his voice getting higher. "Let's just get you to class ya dummy."
