Kraanti couldn't look up to Bharats gaze anymore. She was ashamed. Bharat walked in front of her with raging red eyes and asked a simple question, which killed both of them internally,
"WHY, Maa? WHY DID YOU DESTROY MY LIFE FOREVER?"
"What do you mean I destroyed your life?" Yelled and angry Kraanti at Bharat.
Bharat came closer to her and stood towering over her, his red eyes burning hard. So hard that Kraanti couldn't look up to his eyes.
"You have destroyed my ENTIRE life!! Do you even get what you have done?" he yelled.
Kraanti made the courage to look up to him once and said,
"What ever I have done is for your betterment only."
Bharat laughed sarcastically. The resonance of his voice shook the whole room.
"For my betterment?" He mocked. "And what betterment have you done?"
"You dont know Bharat. They're is a lot to it. Your Dad was planning to give all his property in Ram's name and make him the MD. What would you get? Even I add my property with what you had till now , it would be no match for what Ram would own."
Bharat paused and said,
"Wow. From when did you plan all this,eh? From my childhood I suppose? So you had the eye on the property since then. Wow. Is that why you married Dad? What, so did you kill my biological father JUST to marry him?"
"RAP!" Came the sound from the room. Bharat had been hit hard on his right cheek, for Kraanti had lost herself completely.
"BHARAT!" she yelled. "Do not bring your Dad into this. You have no right!"
"I have. First of all, my whole life I have only known one man as my Dad. Dashrath Suryavanshi. No body else. And my family is the ones who are standing outside. You were, but I dont see you in my family anymore."
Kraanti fumed as the tears fell from her ears like fire. She lifted her hand again, but stopped. Somewhere, the motherly feeling in her didnt let her do so.
"Hit me, what are you waiting for? You know what, the pain to the heart is a lot more worse than the physical pain." said Bharat turning away from her. Kraanti put her hand down and sobbed. She slowly placed her hand on his shoulder, exactly at the moment too turned around Bharat jerking her hand off.
"DO NOT TOUCH ME!" He yelled.
"Di, I dont think something is good inside." said Shruti, shaking with fear. Never in her life had she seen or head anything like this.
Siya held her in her arms, trying to comfort her, but in vain. She herself was trembling.
"Don't worry Shruti. Nothing will happen to you." she said.
"Bharat, all the property was going to be taken away from you. In your childhood, Dashrath had promised me the he would give you and Ram equal estates. But he was not going to keep up to it. So I had to.."
"SO you had to what ?! Steal it from him?!"
"I did not steal anything Bharat."
"You have. Getting someone to sign papers without having them checked and passing property without a notice is stealing, Mrs. Kraanti."
Kraanti was shocked at his reaction. Yes, she didnt expect him to be calm. But she wasn't ready for something like this.
"Show me the papers." He said.
