*Harry's POV*

I pull away immediately in great surprise, not expecting Nick to kiss me at all. I never even knew he liked me in more than a friendly way. I just thought he really enjoyed my company or was lonely since he would always try to hang out with me. I suppose that was just his way of expressing his feelings towards me.

I didn't even like him that way. I only have eyes for Louis. Speaking of, I really hope this doesn't ruin my chance of becoming his boyfriend. I can't lose him again.

"Why did you do that?!" I exclaim.

Before Nick can answer me, Louis shoves him on his chest, forcing him away from me. I watch them nervously, hoping that a fight doesn't break out. I would hate to see them fighting over me; it's not worth it. My heart already belongs to Louis.

"What the hell was that?!" Louis yells, causing the students lingering around us in the hallway to stare in amusement.

"Just proving who the real winner is," he smirks before walking away with a disgustingly proud look on his face.

Winner? What is he talking about? And why does he think he's the winner? Were they secretly arguing over me after all? If that's the case, Nick certainly lost because there is no way I am dating him now, especially after seeing his true colors today. If he thinks he won me over, he is sadly mistaken.

I look over at Louis sadly, knowing very well that any chance I had with Louis has been taken away from me. He would never go out with me after what he just witnessed. He probably doesn't even like me, anyways. He must think I like Nick, which could not be farther from true.

"I am so sorry, Louis. I didn't know he was going to do that," I apologise, though I am not exactly sure why I am the one apologising; this was all Nick's doings.

He just shakes his head at me, tears streaming down his face. I gasp in shock, mouth agape. Why is he crying? Is it something I said? Is it because of Nick? 

"Why are you crying?" I ask in confusion, deeply concerned for him.

"I like you, you idiot," he mutters lugubriously, running off towards the boys' restroom.

I stand frozen in bewilderment at his confession, not believing what I just heard. Louis likes me??? How is that possible? How did I never notice? I couldn't fathom that I could be so oblivious as to not see that Louis, and most likely Nick, have crushes on me. I mean,  I knew they were both quite affectionate with me, but I guess I just convinced myself that neither of them could ever see me as more than just a friend. 

I really need to fix things with Louis. He deserves to know that I feel the same way about him and that I want to become his boyfriend. I'm tired of playing games with him. It's time for us to become serious and take our friendship to the next level.

After school, I decide to search for Louis to disclose my feelings for him. He should be at footie practice right now, preparing for their next game, so hopefully, I can catch him before he has to begin playing. I really hope he doesn't ignore me or is still mad at me. It's not like I wanted any of this to happen, anyways.

To my luck, I see him walking out of the boys' locker room, so I quickly rush over to talk to him. When he sees me coming, he tries to turn and run the other way, but I grab his hand to stop him before he can; he's not getting out of this that easily.

"Wait! I really need to talk to you," I call.

"Your actions have said enough for you," he grumbles, wriggling out of my strong, yet gentle grip.

"Louis, please. You know that wasn't my fault. I had absolutely no idea he was planning anything like that," I beg somewhat desperately, hoping he'll, at least, hear me out.

"Why don't you go kiss your boyfriend, Nick, and leave me alone?" he sasses pettily. 

"Because I'd rather be kissing you," I smirk.

Before he can even react to my statement, I attach our lips together in a passionate kiss.

What did you think of Nick believing he won the war over Harry's heart? Of Larry arguing about the kiss? Of Louis confessing his crush to Harry? Of Harry kissing him? What will happen next?

I really hope you liked it. I'm sorry it's so short. The next one will be longer for sure. However, you have to admit that a lot happened in such a short chapter.
