After a long cab drive filled with laughter and talking we made it to the flat where I will be staying at.
"Management will be paying for all of this for your first month. By then you will have more than enough to pay for this plus bills."
Lou jiggled the key out and opened the door. I didn't mean to but I gasped at the sight of the beautiful flat room.
Lou laughed at my response.
"Oh my gosh! Its so nice I don't want to take my shoes off!"
The kitchenette was beyond gorgeous with granite everywhere and stainless steel appliances. There was four giant windows overlooking the heart of London. Lavender drapes the same shade of Lou's hair fit the windows perfectly. The drapes barely touched the solid wood floors. Leather sofas, 70" plasma tv and a brick fireplace made the place seem right out of a Better Homes And Garden magazine.
"Go ahead its your place now!"
I took off my coral Vans and sat down on the couch.
"I got to personally customized it myself, you like the lilac color?" She looked at me and winked. Oh Lou!
"I love it! It's so gorgeous! Thank you!"
"Thank management! They are the ones who bought everything, I just picked out the colors!"
Thank you, Managment!
I looked around once more.
"Well, I will let you get settled in! I will be waiting out here, putting away some groceries for you." She said pointing to a large group of plastic bags.
I nodded and turned to the way the bedroom and bathroom.
"Oh and Liv?"
"Yeah?" I twirled around meeting her gaze.
"I hope you like your closet." She winked then started putting away some cereal boxes.
Lou always knows how to get me excited. I turned away with the biggest grin on my face. I like it here a lot already! Thanks Lou!
