PART 25

We pushed our way through the crowds of people hanging around the doorway and started running towards the house. Fans started noticing Nathan and following us. I ran as fast as I could, holding hands with Nath and Alice. The fans started screaming and going mad. I and Nathan had to separate so that he could get home safely. We let go of hands, and he started to run faster. Once he was quite far away, we blended in with the crowd.

We could still see Nath and kept our eyes on him the whole time. The house was only about five minutes away, and we started to relax. We would be fine. Then, out of nowhere, a girl who I recognized as Vicki leapt out in front of Nathan, and pushed him into the side of a fence. He hit his head and slowly fell to the ground, screaming in agony.

“NATHAN!!” I screamed, my voice breaking, as I sped up towards him. Of course, everyone else did as well, but I couldn’t care less about them. I saw Vicki run away, and I felt my blood boil. I hated her. I needed to get her back somehow.

When I reached Nathan, he was laying on the floor, his face scrunched up in pain. I panicked as all of the other girls crowded around him. Alice was by my side.

“Everybody get back!” I shouted, unaware of what I was doing. “Alice, call the boys...or Jayne...or someone.” She nodded, pulled out her phone and started dialling. I then turned to Nathan.

“Nath?”

“Rachel...is that you?” He said quietly, his voice croaking a little.

“Yeah it’s me Nath, what did she do to you? Are you hurt?” I asked, almost in a whisper, before realizing that was a stupid question. He just shook his head, so I took his hand. “Nathan please, the others are going to be here in a minute ok?” He nodded again.

I smiled a weak smile at him before gently moving his hair from his eyes. I leant down to kiss his forehead. That’s when I noticed the huge cut on his head that was bleeding heavily. My mouth fell open.

“Somebody call an ambulance!!!”
