Chapter 5- Haily

Haily's P.O.V.

The next morning I got to school and waited for the girls to arrive in the courtyard. In the meantime I figured I would text Scott. I opened my phone to see he already beat me to it.

"Good Morning Beautiful :)"

I smiled as I read his text. I quickly texted him back before seeing Claire walk up.

"Hey C!" I shouted. She walked up looking super pissed and to be honest I was quite scared.

"So this morning," she starts as Alyssa and Viv walk up, "I spent about twenty minutes just trying to find a bow to match my shirt."

"Claire... you are such a diva, hey Viv, hey Lis." I say. I tune out Alyssa's story about her coffee creamer as Rebecca finally decides to join us.

"Bec." I say as she approaches as she smiles acknowledging my greeting. I sit on the little bench under the tree and keep texting Scott before I hear an eruption of laughter. I get back up and hear Alyssa say that we were having a sleepover at her house this weekend. We all nod and walk to our classes as the bell rings.

*First Period*

I walk into first period and sit next to Bec who just so happened to get transferred into this class yesterday. I begin the worksheet given to us. Rebecca suddenly burst out laughing and explains how she was thinking of a Tumbr post once again. The teacher glared at her and it caused me to start laughing as well.

"Girls, detention, both of you on Wednesday," yells the teacher, clearly annoyed by us... great. That's exactly what I needed. The rest of the class flies by and I make my way to Chorus.

"Viv, C guess what happened to Bec and me. We got detention because stupid Bec over here started thinking about Tumblr, again." I say.

"REALLY?!?!" Claire shouts, "I got detention too, for chewing gum."

"GUYS, I just got detention because I screamed at some kid to shut up..." screamed Lis as she walked through the door.

"Alright class, please get out your syllabus that was do today," said Mrs. Flore, our Chorus teacher. Viv's face paled and I could tell she didn't have it. She cautiously raised her hand and explained what happened.

"Detention, Wednesday," replied Mrs. Flore. Me, Bec, C, and Lis just stared at each other wide mouthed. How the heck did all of us get detention on the same day for the same day? We sat there gob smacked for a few seconds before we were snapped back to reality with pitches being played on the piano. Wow.

*Fourth period*

Third period algebra and lunch passed by so quickly. I started walking to the court yard for free period. I was met by my handsome prince charming standing in the sunlight smiling ear to ear as I approached him. I laughed shaking my head at his adorableness. We hugged and immediately engaged into conversation.

"So how has your day been?" Scott casually asks. I smile trying to hold in a laugh as I explained the whole detention situation with him.

"Wow," he says, "of course the one day you get detention, so do your four best friends."

"We're just that lucky," I say with an attempted wink, which I cannot do at all, causing him to laugh. God I love him. What did I just think... The bell rang signaling the end of free period and the beginning of AP Human with Lis and Viv. It's going to be a long rest of the day...
