Pieces (Niall Horan Fanfic)

Chapter 17

"Where are the boys?" I asked Niall.

He had a confused look on his face, then it changed to a face of worry.

"Oh no. I forgot to pick them up from site seeing!" He panicked.

Niall hopped up from the chair, trying desperately to get his shoes on. I stood up and put my shoes on as well. He grabbed my hand and ran out the front door. I guess I wasn't walking fast enough because he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, running to my car.

We had parked at the end of my driveway instead of in the garage earlier because I had forgotten my garage button inside, so my car was a little ways from my house.

Once Niall got to the car, he sat me into the passenger seat and got himself into the drivers seat.

"Where did you leave them?" I finally asked.

"Um... I left them at, the uh...

Oh I remember! I left them at the lighthouse thing so I could pick you up. They said to come back about," he looked at his watch, "about an hour ago!"

"Well let's go!"

We drove to the lighthouse and checked inside the of it, the gift shop, the beach next to it, and even the restaurant a block away. They were nowhere to be found.

"Do you want me to call them?" I asked as we got back into my car.

"Yeah! I'll drive around the near by neighborhoods to look while you call."

I nodded and dialed Liam's number into Niall's phone. I left my phone on the kitchen table so I had to use his.

It rang a few times and then he answered.

"Niall?" Liam asked, sounding out of breath.

"No it's Carrie. Where are you guys?"

I heard some weird squealing noises and then Liam started speaking again.

"We are close to that park you showed us! You need to come quick!" He shouted into the phone.

"What? Liam, what's wrong?" I asked frantically.

"Hurry and get us! They are close!" He panted.

All of a sudden I heard Louis scream, "One of them ripped my shirt!"

"Liam? Hello?"

"Just hurry before they-" the phone cut off.

Well that was horrifying.

"Liam said they were at the Park....

And it sounded like they were being chased.?"

"The fans probably figured out it was them. We have to go!" Niall said, picking up the speed and heading towards the park.

We were almost to the park when I noticed a load of people running down the side of the road. It was about 40 girls chasing the boys. Niall drove a bit faster to get next to the boys.

"Roll down the window and tell them to jump in when I flash the lights!" Niall ordered.

I did as he said and stuck my head out of the window. I waved at Harry since he seemed to be running the fastest. He saw me and ran closer to the car.

"Niall said to jump in when he flashes the lights." I told him, trying not to be loud so the fans wouldn't hear.

He nodded and slowed just a little so he was running next to Liam, Louis, and Zayn. I'm guessing he explained the plan. I just hope it works.
