I awoke with a start sitting up in bed gasping for air. I don't remember dreaming about anything, but yet I felt like whatever I just woke from scared the hell out of me. I looked around me to see an unfamiliar room. I blinked hard trying to get my mind to calm down and focus. Bits and pieces of yesterday coming back to me. I remember getting to magnolia and fairy tail.... and more importantly Mavis. My eyes shot wide open, where was she? I scanned the room to no avail before feeling a weight shift against me. I look down to find her sleeping form beside me. My jaw dropped at this, we slept together last night!?!? This pounded through my head. I've never been on a date let alone..... I stopped that train of thought to a more curious question that popped into my head like a after thought, If she really is a ghost why does she need to sleep? just another question to add to the list. I took a deep breath and shook her gently.

She grumbled softly causing her eyebrows to furrow her voice groggy, "five more minutes" she pleaded.

I chuckle softly before shaking her gently again this time bending down to whisper in her ear, "Wake up or you will miss the fairy"

Her eyes shot open as she sat up in bed, the mere mention of fairies seemed to put her into a frenzy, but how did I know that? Her eyes coveted the room from ceiling to floor trying to find her elusive fairy, but when she realized it was just us in the room she looking up at me in a confused expression. She noticed the small smirk spread across my lips, which I just couldn't hide from how cute she was acting about all  this. Then her expression changed to Disappointment, her lips forming a pout "That's mean zero....." she said puffing her cheeks out

I rubbed her back gently, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you, I just wanted to get you up is all." I instinctively kissed the top of her head realizing what I did only after the fact. Her cheeks turned a soft pink the pout being replaced gradually with a gentle smile.

"Well..... I guess you can be forgiven, this time." She says in a subdued tone

"Thank you" I rub the back of my head sheepishly.

The two of us grew quiet to the point where you could hear a pin drop. Even though we weren't talking it wasn't awkward, it was a comfortable silence. My heart was beating like crazy. I was laying in bed with my impossible girl. Even though I knew a lot about her, she knew next to nothing of me. I needed to make a way of telling her everything without making it sound too boring because let's face it, I'm pretty plain and even more so here in this world of magic.

I looked over to see her staring up at me as if waiting for me to do something. I gulped down a bit of air trying to think of all those stupid romantic movies I used to watch. damn it what do I do? I racked my brain trying to come up with something myself. After what felt like an eternity I had an idea, not the most brilliant one but still what I felt was right. I wrapped my hand gently around the small of Mavis' back and leaned her back against the bed.

She let out a soft gasp subconsciously placing a hand against my chest. Her voice wavering slightly, "z-zero what are you doing?"

I placed my free hand against her cheek as one of hers found a home against my chest.
"I'm sorry, are you OK lying like this? if not you just have to say the word" my voice was shaky and full of inexperience, which hopefully she caught onto.

She simply nodded her head not able to meet my gaze.

I caressed her cheek softly as I spoke, "W-well I know you must have a million questions for me and I thought maybe.... maybe it would be OK if we do it like this" I chuckle sheepishly, "because holding you like this is kinda a dream come true"

I slowly brought my gaze to her eyes to find a rosy cheeked Mavis staring back at me letting out a shy giggle. "O-oh, I guess that's OK" her eyes traveled up and down me as if analyzing all that she can see of me before speaking again.
  "How old are you?"

"16, though I will be 17 next month" I respond softly, as I subconsciously brush the back of my hand against her cheek causing her her blush to deepen a little more.

"tell me about your world, its a world without magic right? that's such a weird thing to think of"

"so is a world with magic if you think of it from my perspective."

"I guess you have a point there"

"I wouldn't say it is anything special, people go to work every day, I was in high school-"

"whats high school?" she asks suddenly curiosity crossing her face.

I chuckle at her insatiable curiosity of new things, " well from the age of 4, each year getting more and more advanced things being taught, basically your given a class for writing and reading, then they bring in math, social studies, the sciences, that sort of thing and high school is the last four years of schooling, I'm currently in grade 10, which is two away from graduating. After that there's College or university or just going into the workforce"

she pauses taking that in before speaking, "what was your favorite subject?"

I took my time to answer, my gaze leaving her to focus on a wall away from us, "school never really was my thing, though my favorite would have been....... English for sure, in that class I could escape into a good book, or being able to write.... about you...." My eyes slowly trail up to meet hers. She looked a little shocked at my answer. "my teachers always took as a work of fiction, and the detail I put into it, it made getting a good grade in that class easy. Though to me, you were never just a fictitious character." I took a deep breath before continuing, "like I said, ever since I could remember, I knew your face, who was she? Why did I only dream of her? And the biggest question of all," I gulp before continuing, "why whenever I picture her face, why does my heart skip a beat?"

when I finally looked back at her there was a look of shock that crossed her face that slowly melted into a softer expression, a small smile crossing her lips. "s-so you wrote about me....?" I nod slowly, after a comfortable silence developed knowing she wasn't ready for another question, I slowly start to lean in. she doesn't try and stop it, but actually closed her eyes accepting what I'm about to do.

My heart was racing, I'm about to kiss the one girl that I never thought I would get a chance. Our lips were mere inches apart, I closed my eyes, my mind going blank not knowing what to expect from this.

Our lips brushed together when Suddenly the door opens up and a guys voice rung out through the room, "the master wants to-"
