Heyo, lovelies! So, I'm just going to clear up the confusion that some of you have, rather quickly:
1.) if you weren't chosen for who you wanted to be, that's okay, because either way, you'll still be added in the story. (Oh and btw in sorry if you haven't commented on the prev update, but it's a little too late now, I won't be accepting new applications)
2.) depending on who you actually are, you most likely won't be a HUGE part of the story. Also, I will make sure at least all of you have your very own chappie.
So, yeah. I hoped that cleared up any questions you had, and yeah. Enjoy, babies<33
~Chapter Nine~
Ninah's POV
I was awoken by a text message. I checked my phone, expecting Mat, but instead, I was thrown off by who it was.
It was one of my best friends: Jasey.
Jasey and I have been friends since elementary school. I noticed she found everything around her hilarious, and almost never stopped her giggles, and I told her how cool it is to find life so rad. So, just like any other seven year old girl, we bonded over silly things like Barbie dolls, and Polly Pockets, and just became best friends. We stuck together all those years, our friendship growing stronger as we went through an awkward scene stage, and dyed our hair obnoxious colors together. Mine being an orange ombre affect into red, and hers a pink ombre affect into purple. Although, I dyed my hair back to normal, hers is still the same (as far as I'm aware).
We discovered our similarities. Becoming similar in the act that we both swore, like sailors. However, I'm not as bad as she was. She swears at least once in almost every sentence. We also had similar style, we wore big baggy sweaters that had holes in them, really ruffed up shoes, and slim leggings practically all through High school. And during senior prom, when neither of us had a date, we went with each other. we did practically everything together. We had always dreamed of owning an apartment together, and we almost did it too, but unfortunately, our career paths lead us in different directions. I wanted to stay here, in Boston, and go to a college where I am able to study music, and the arts of dance. However, she preferred the arts in general. So she moved to Chicago for college. And since we've moved, we haven't really spoken, but we will today, I picked up phone and called her, excitement surging throughout my body.
When she picked up, she screeched through the phone yelling my name.
We spoke for hours, and when she began to mention her boyfriend, it made me think about Mat, then thinking about him made me realize she doesn't know about how suicidal I've gotten and how Mat and his friends changed that immensely. Yes, I was fucked up in high school, but not fucked up to the point of suicide. We've been in college for almost three years now, and the 'incident' happened during the summer of my senior year.
I had to tell her, she was the closest friend I've ever had. When I tried to isolate myself away from her throughout my depressed times, she didn't allow it, and stood right next to me the entire time.
"Jasey," I began, showing her how serious I am through the tone of my voice.
"Yes, Ninah?" I know she knows this isn't going to be easy for me to tell her.
"Well, I wanted to tell you, the summer of our senior year, a month or so after you left to Chicago, I grew even more depressed than I was previously, and I didn't have anyone to give me words of encouragement like you always have, and I wasn't able to-"
"Get to the point," she interrupted, growing nervous.
"I tried to commit suicide." I told her. The tears had already been flowing down my cheeks, and I grew weak hearing her cry on the other end. I told her, "it was almost three years ago, Jasey. I'm okay now, I found something that changed me, and people who changed me, and made me feel worth it."
She cleared her throat "Who?" She asked.
"YouTubers. In fact, I have to tell you this insane story of how I'm going to meet one tomorrow."

Accidental Angel (A NoochM FanFic)
FanfictionI am aware of how cliché this type of story is, but if you give the prologue a read, and try to put yourself in the protagonist's shoes, you might find it interesting.
