ONTO THE CHAPTER!
~Chapter Eleven~
Ninah's POV
I drove about an hour to the airport to pick Mat up. My heart was beating quickly when I got in the car, and now, being probably a half hour from him, I swear I could die of heart troubles any second.
I pulled into a complicated parking lot and walked into the "picking up" section. His flight doesn't arrive for fifteen minutes, but it's better to be there early, right?
I waited in a cafeteria; waited for his call. Growing more and more anxious and nervous. The negative thoughts still ringing in my head, but being out rung by how tight I'm going to hold him when he walks through that corridor. Then finally, my phone rang. I hesitated none.
"Hello?" I answered with excitement.
"Hey I'm here, where are you?" He asked.
"I'm in the cafeteria outside of exit C." I said. Excitement surged through my body.
"Alright, I'm in corridor C, so ill try to find the cafeteria!" I could tell he was smiling. Almost as if I was able to see it.
I stood up, now shaking, heart pounding, ready to see him. I walked over to the exits and waited.
Mat's POV
After I got my belongings, I rushed out of the pick up center for the luggage. I pulled out my phone, my hands shaking, from a combination of hunger, and nervousness. I quickly dialed her number, unable to stop the smile that had been on my face since the plane landed.
When she picked up, I was so tempted to just scream out of happiness, but there were people surrounding me everywhere, so I refrained.
"Where are you?" I asked.
"The cafeteria outside of exit C" she answered
I jumped with joy, knowing we aren't very far apart now.
"I'll try to find the cafeteria," I finished, hanging up, grabbing my bags and speed walking as quickly as I can to find the cafeteria.
I walked quickly down a long narrow hallway that I knew would lead me to the cafeteria. When I had begun to approach a corner, my heart beat faster and harder than before. This was it, this was when I finally get to meet the girl who I've fallen in love with.
I peaked my head around the corner and griped tightly onto my luggage. That was when, I saw the most beautiful girl's eyes widen, and cover her mouth that had just formed an 'O' shape.
Ninah's POV
After a few minutes of waiting, Mat had slowly peered from the corner. I spotted him, and began to let my excitement show, and when he saw me, he showed his excitement as well. Although, he showed it more. We began to speed walk, then run towards eachother. He ran towards me, and I scampered my way towards him. When we collided, he grabbed me and lifted me up in the air, holding my waist as tight as he could. My arms were wrapped around his neck as my eyes grew teary and my emotions came out. I placed my face directly into the crease of his shoulder, and cried tears of joy. The last thing I wanted to do was let go. I've always dreamed of meeting my knight, my savior. And now he's holding me, the way he always has, except now, it's literal. This moment is probably the best moment ive ever lived through. He lowered me down, still holding me as tight as he possibly could and kissed my forehead. I felt my face grow red, as I wiped away the tears of happiness I shed.
Mat's POV
I refused to let go. I've waited for this moment for almost three and a half months, and here I am.
We started out on an awkward note, when we met. She told me openly how she's self harmed, and how I helped her quit, and I told her I was here for her. We laughed, cried, and ate together, all through Skype.
Then our feeling towards each other grew. I began to like her, then I noticed how much she loves me, and I fell for her. I realized how happy she makes me, and how happy I make her. Her existence makes me happy.
Her being makes me happy.
She makes me happy.
All I know, and all I really care about, is how exciting this weekend will be.
I came here as her very close friend, and I will make sure I leave as her boyfriend.

FanfictionI am aware of how cliché this type of story is, but if you give the prologue a read, and try to put yourself in the protagonist's shoes, you might find it interesting.
