~Chapter Seventeen~

Mat's POV

The time had ticked quicker and quicker as we spoke about stupid things like animals and cookies. And before we knew it, it was already 3:00 in the morning.

"We should probably get to bed, shouldn't we?" She laughed.

I yawned, "that sounds like a good idea." I smiled at her.

We got up from the couch and made our way to our rooms. Before I jumped into bed, I quickly took off my shirt and grabbed my tooth brush. She walked into her room and changed, I assume.

I made my way into the bathroom and brushed my teeth.

Ninah's POV

After I changed, I went to take my laundry into the bathroom. Mat had just brushed his teeth, I assume, and we both walked into each other trying to make our way to the other side. We laughed, and I had lost my train of thought. I didn't expect to see Mat shirtless. Although it wasn't anything special (not that I crave for washboard abs, and muscles the size of my head, I don't) but he had something. I don't know what it was, but it was something that made me suddenly much more attracted to him than I already was.

We laughed for a few seconds then quickly apologized. After I threw my laundry into the dirty clothes basket, we walked to our separate rooms. Just before I had walked into mine, I went over to Mat and gave him a little kiss on the cheek, just to say goodnight. A "friendly" goodnight.

I saw his face shine a light shade of pink before I had walked into my room.

Mat's POV

I don't understand why Ninah always looks so cuddly. It took all of my effort to NOT wrap my arms around her and sleep with her in my arms for the rest of the night. I was surprise how I acted when she kissed my cheek, however. When I saw her coming over to me, I thought she was going to kiss my lips, but apparently and unfortunately not.

I closed the door to the guest room and tucked myself into the bed, and quickly fell asleep, with butterflies in my stomach.
