"you have just called hotline mendes. we couldn't reach him right now because he's busy eating muffin. maybe you can call him again later. thank you and leave a message after the beep."

i laughed so hard at shawn's voicemail. it was so obvious that he uses his own voice only that he change the tone.

i told myself that i won't call him again because he's an artist and i was just the lucky girl who called the wrong number. you could say the lucky number.

"maybe i should let him call me instead."

shawn finally called me. i thought he won't call me. my phone was with me all the time, waiting for him to call me. i missed talking to him although it has been one day.

"hey ashley, sorry for not answering your call."

"hey, it's fine."

"guess you heard my voicemail, huh? *chuckle awkwardly*"

"yeah, it's cute."

"my friends thought they're funny."

"funny and cute at the same times haha."

"ya know how much i love muffins right?"

"yup. they're very delicious."

"very very aha. but hey, you see i'm very busy right now and tomorrow because i'll be performing on my tour manager's wedding on Saturday."

"wow, what song?"

"it's a song me and my friend have been working on."

"slay it and have fun!"

"thought of calling you that."

"only close friend or someone that i close with can call me that."

"consider me as your close friend then."
