Chapter Nine
Louis Tomlinson
What was it about her that made me like her so much? Maybe it was the way her ombré hair sat perfectly on her shoulders, or how her smile melted everyone's heart. Her eyes where also very beautiful, and sparkled even without the sunlight. I wasn't the type of guy to actually care about a girl, other than for sex.
She was different. And somehow, she was transforming me— and I didn't like that idea. Every girl in the damn school wanted me, not just because I was funny. But I was good looking, and had a nice body. Alivia didn't want me. But somehow, deep down, I could see that sliver of hope.
I looked at myself in the mirror and fixed the collar of my flannel. I was taking her out on a date. Something I had to research about because I had no idea how to take a girl out. I was hoping it would strike something in her heart and make her realize that I wasn't all that bad.
I sprayed myself with the tiniest bit of colon, then left my dorm. Trying to sneak past my roommate who would most likely make fun of me for going on a date.
"Louis," Dammit, "Where you going?"
"Nowhere, I'm just taking a walk," I shoved my hands in my pocket and awkwardly rocked back and forth.
"No need for that, we're going over to Brad's for a hook up. His girlfriend brought over his friends for us," He licked his lips, "So come."
Of course I wanted to hook up with some random girl, but now wasn't a good time. Which are the words I never thought I'd say.
"I can't, sorry," I started walking away from him, and he rose his eyebrow.
"Is it that girl? Alivia Durrant. You've been offaly attracted to her lately, not like any other girl before," Shit.
"Yeah well I'm going to the bar to hook up with her," I was lying obviously. But what was I supposed to say to Nate? He caught up to things really easily.
"In a bar? Damn, I underestimated you Tomlinson."
I gulped, then nodded my head, "Right, well I should get going. The last thing I want is for her to leave."
I walked to her dorm, remembering the room number perfectly. I slowly knocked on the door, then realized I never got her flowers. So I looked around the area, and seen a rose bush. I picked her out a rose and she quickly opened the door.
"You weren't kidding," She forced a smile, then afterwards rolled her eyes, "Well, we better go then."
"I got you this rose."
She eyed me, and then the rose bush and nodded her head, "Thank you for picking me a rose from the dorm rose bushes."
"No problem," I giggled, and handed her the rose. She set it on the floor next to her dorm, and took my arm.
"So, how'd you sneak away from your friends?" She knew me to well, and it made me laugh.
"You're probably going to hear this one way or another. So you should hear this from me," I began, "I told my friend I was going to the bar to hook up with you."
"Seriously Louis. You're such a dick," She hissed back at me, "I could be in my bed, drinking coffee, and writing my novel."
"You don't have to come with me if you don't want to. But I'm not actually going to hook up with you," I assured, and moved my hand down to her hand.
