It was Thursday morning, and I was packed and ready to head back home. I honestly didn't understand why I was making such a big deal about this 'trip' it was literally just around the corner. But to Louis, it was much more than a little visit. He was meeting my family for the first time and I was quite anxious.
I peered into the bathroom mirror, happy with my tight pony tail, floral romper, and vans. Astrid was still asleep, so I had to be as quiet as possible, or else she'd through one of her daily hissy fits.
I made a trip to Louis' dorm, who was surprisingly awake with his sister Lottie by his side. I didn't realize he was serious about bringing her along. "This should be fun," I commented as we finally left campus, "The uber should be here soon."
Louis slid his hand up my romper, which made me a little too hyper, "This weekend is going to be fun," he grinned, before arching my back and kissing me.
"This is nasty to watch," Lottie grunted.
"What? You think I like watching you and Tommy?" Louis gawked, "That's what I thought."
The uber pulled up beside us, and we quickly got in. He just wouldn't stop kissing me, and I was okay with that. "Ah, your family is going to love me."
We reached my house just moments later, and it felt like I never left. The same smell, same memories of high school. It was all coming back to me. "This is a cute little house," he stared down at the patches of flowers my mom had planted.
"ALIVIA!" Ashley came barging out the door, her arms open, "God, I missed you so much!"
"Ashley! I wasn't far, why didn't you just visit?" I chuckled, and she eyed Louis head to toe.
"Damn, he's really as hot as he was in that picture."
Louis grinned, wrapping his left arm around Lottie, "This my dear, is my sister Lottie. She will be sharing a room with you."
"We have another guest room," I parted my lips, not wanting the two girls to hate each other before getting to know one another.
"No it's okay, Lottie will have a great time with me," Ashley was never one to turn down a bonding moment, even if she didn't know the person.
Lottie forced a smile, "Okay..."
As soon as we entered the home, dust came flying into my face. And let me just tell you, I wasn't surprised. "We are staying in your room, correct?"
"Yep," I walked into the family room, noticing the fire place was on, "Mom, you here?"
"Baby girl!" she came rushing into the room, wearing the sweater my grandma knitted for her.
"You're my baby girl," Louis pouted, and I playfully slapped his shoulder, "What, its true."
"This must be. Your boyfriend?" she forced a smile, and I knew she didn't like the idea of me having a boyfriend. Even in high school, when I dated Jasper Lee. He was really close to my family, yet she still didn't like him.
