We leaped across the roofs of the buildings leading up to the entrance of the runners headquarters. We would take maybe eights sprints before leaping again on to another building top.
"There it is." Marie said.
I looked at the building that we were about to leap on when I saw the blue flame, the symbol of the runners. I was about to leap onto the next building she held me back.
"Get down." She whispered to me. I hunched down and she soon followed. I looked over the concrete wall that we were taking cover from and saw soldiers looking at the flame.
"Oh no."
