The Dream

Elena POV

It was the middle of the night and thank to god I finished the living room but now I was thinking of my trip that Damon and I are going too.I looked out the window it was raining not badly but it was raining

I get the man I love and now I'm going die and I'm scared not scared of dying but of not being with Damon well I will be with him but I won't be able to touch him or kiss him I will be gone to him but he won't be gone to me

"What are you doing up still"i hear a beautiful voice say

I look over to the side of the room and see damon at the door way and I smile at him

"Damon shouldn't you be sleeping too"i asked tiredly

"I could ask you the same thing"damon said as he cocked his head to the side

He walked up to the bed and sat down on the bed and I looked up at him with tired eyes

"I couldn't sleep but I'm getting tired now"I said

"Well I'm done packing so why don't I stay here for the night ok"damon asked

I nodded my head and lied down on the bed as Damon wrapped his arms around me

"I love you so much don't ever forget that ok"he whispered in my ear

"I know you do"I said as my eyes got heavy and closed them

I could feel him slowly fall asleep as well and I smiled as he held me

I knew I was going to die I was going to die with out growing up I was going to die before I got to get married and before I ever got to have kids but I will not die before I fall in love and that's the one thing I have always wanted

The man I loved was with me the man I needed to be happy was holding me close to him

I closed my eyes again and slowly fell asleep and dreamed

I was in a cold and dark place it felt like someone was watching me I could feel eyes on me

"I'm going to get you don't worry"a dark voice side

I turned around and saw a face that made my life hell.It was klaus

"Klaus"i said with fear in my voice as I spoke

"Here I brought you something"klaus said and kicked something or someone I should say

It was damon he was dead and limp on the ground

"Damon!"i cried in pain and ran to his body

I fell to my knees and held him in my arms and cried

"Damon please you have to come back you have to you can't be gone please don't be dead"i sobbed

My eyes shot open and I see damon shot up as well

"Elena Elena are you ok"damon said with worry

"Oh god damon you where gone you where dead"i sobbed

"Shh sh it was just a dream I'm fine"damon said

"Damon I think klaus is in the house"i said in his neck

I hear a sound down stairs and our heads shot to the door

"Elena stay here I will be right back"damon said and got off the bed right as he got up I hear the door open

I look at the door and see a man a man I haven't seen in months

" Hello my doppelgänger " said the man

Right then I know who it was and my whole body just froze

"Klaus"i breathed
