Chapter 18

“Holy snap this is getting annoying!” I exclaimed to Niall as I walked into his apartment.

“What?” he asked from his place on the couch.

“All this stupid paparazzi and fans and crap. Eleanor and I got swarmed almost the whole day. Do they ever give you guys a break?” I asked dropping my shopping bags by the door.

“Yea,” he said as I made my way over to him.

“Really? When?” I sat down next to him.

“Well…when I’m here they don’t bother me,” he shrugged.

“I mean when you’re out and stuff you dork,” I laughed at him.

“No not really,” he wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

“Arg,” I threw myself into the back of the couch.

“What about going on a vacation?” Niall asked.

“What?” I shot up and looked at him.

“A vacation, you know taking a trip some place you don’t live,” he said and I pushed his shoulder.

“No shit Sherlock,” I said and he laughed. “I meant are you serious?”

“Yea, it’s a way for you to get away and also a way for us to get some alone time someplace we wouldn’t have to worry about running into Louis,” Niall explained.

“That sounds great!” I practically tackled him in a hug.

“Now just where to go,” He asked as we laid on the couch together with his arms wrapped tight around my waist.

“Where sounds good to you?”

“Anywhere you want to go,” he kissed my forehead.

“Anywhere?” I thought while drumming my fingers on his chest. “Oh we could go up to Lake Placid, I haven’t been there in years. Plus I think I can get a good deal on a cabin by the lake,” I suggested.

“That sounds great,” he leaned in and gave me a quick kiss.

“Okay, we gotta plan this right so Louis doesn’t get suspicious,” I sat back up and gabbed Niall’s computer off the table.

*2 hours Later*

“Hey Emma, are you ready to go?” Eleanor walked into my bedroom.

“Yea, almost,” I said putting on my shoes. The boys were getting together tonight, which gave us girls an opportunity for a girls night. So before our separate outings we all decided to go out to dinner.

“Are you ready to party tonight?” she said taking a seat on my bed.

“To be honest I don’t know, I mean I’ve been to parties and everything but I don’t know,” I walked over to her.

“Don’t worry, we can always leave,” she stood up and gave me a reassuring smile.

“Okay,” I sighed and we headed down to her car.

“No offence, but I think I need my own car,” I said about 15 minutes into the drive.

“No offence taken, I totally agree. It would get annoying having to be driven around everywhere. If you ever want to go out driving, I’m always available and I’m sure Louis would be up to it.”

“Thanks I’ll have to take you up on that,” I laughed. “Where are we going anyways?”

“Some place Niall likes, I’ve never been there before.” She shrugged as she paid close attention to her GPS.
