Am I really doing this? I asked myself as I walked down Louis' street. Mark reluctantly gave me the address, but I had to at least talk to him and try to get on talking terms if we are going to be family. I have enough family I don't talk to in the states I don't need any here.

"What am I doing?" I asked out loud as I stood outside his door. I turned to leave and stopped shaking my head. I knocked on the door before I lost the guts to do it.

"Hello," a woman answered the door. I recognised her from pictures Charlotte showed me on her phone the other night. It was Johanna, Mark's ex.

"Hey I'm here to see Louis," I smiled at her hoping she didn't dislike me as well.

"Oh you must be Emma, the girls told me you were American," she smiled drying her hands.

"That would be me," I smiled shaking her hand.

"Call me Jay. Come on in I'll get Louis for you."

"Thank you," she walked off and I stood by the door snooping around.

"Emma," Daisy came up to me hugging my waist.

"Hey Daisy," I hugged her back, well all I could.

"Do you want to come play with us?"

"I think I can do that for a little while," she grabbed my hand and dragged me into the living room pulling me down to sit next to her on the ground.

"Louis she is your family, now go talk to her," I heard Jay threw the walls.

"What do you want," Louis crossed his arms looking down at me and the youngest girls playing dolls.

"I came to talk," I tried not to get as sassy as he was being.

"Well talk," the girls just looked between us.

"Maybe some place else?" I asked not wanting to upset the girls. He just rolled his eyes at me and walked out the front door.

"See you girls later," I smiled at them before getting up and following him.

"What do you want?" he asked as soon as the door was closed.

"I just wanted to talk seeing as you didn't do much of that the other night," don't get sassy Emma, we don't need to go down to his level, I kept telling to myself.

"Listen, I'm going to stop you right there. I know you and my sisters hit it off, but there is no way of that happening with me alright, so stop even trying," he quickly went back in the apartment before I had time to understand what had just happened. As I reached for the handle to give him a peice of my mind, the lock made a loud thud.

"That bitch," I said quietly to myself.

I quickly walked down the stares and back in the direction of the bus stop.

"Seriously?" I asked as I tripped slipping the crap from my bag on the side walk. "Could this day be any worse?" I sat down on the ground not even bothering to pick up any of my crap off the ground. I put my head in my hands trying to get my mind off how everything was going wrong right now.

"Are you alright?" A voice said, I looked on the ground to see a pair of sneakers right in front of me.

"Oh just groovy," I shook my head before looking up at him.

"Here," he held out his hands. I stared at them for a very short time before taking it.

"Thanks," I said after he smoothly and effortlessly helped me up. I looked him over the slightest bit when he was looking down the street. His blond hair was very stylish and had major gel in it to look like that. If only he would take off those dang sunglasses and I could see his eyes.

"Are you okay?" he asked again looking down a bit at me.

"Yea," I closed my eyes so close to tear.

"Let's get this cleaned up," he said kneeling down grabbing some of the many items off the ground. I got on my knees and finished getting everything with him.

"How about we go sit down and talk?" he questioned holding his hand out the way he just came from.

Now don't ask me why I went with him, because frankly I have no idea. I mean he was a total stranger, but at the moment I just needed to vent and just to be with someone. I missed being with people my age, heck I've been to that music store everyday since I've gotten here. It was just something about him, something that seemed sweet and caring. I just hope my minds decision was right.

"We can talk while we walk if you'd like," he offered and I just nodded my head. Maybe this was a bad idea, I've never opened up to a complete stranger before and I have no idea how to start.

"Why are you upset?" he asked, he must have realized I couldn't find my words.

"Family," I said before stopping, can I even call it that? I mean I just met these people a few days ago is it too soon to classify us as a family? It's not like I've known them my whole life like my aunt Gean in Colorado, then again I've talked to them more in the past week then I have her in the past few years.

"That's always an interesting topic," he nodded his head next to me as he lead the way to where ever we are headed.

"Very and always complicated as well," I looked over at him at the same time he looked in my direction.

"Very," he let out a small laugh while we held each others gazes before looking where we were headed and I looked down at my shoes for a moment.

"Here we are," he opened up his arms in the direction of the beautiful park.

"Wow this is amazing," I looked around at all the children's equipment and the many different kinds of flowers. It also had benches and picnic tables. "How in the world did you find this place?" I asked stepping through the tall bushes that kept the area private from passing traffic.

"You learn all the secret places when you live somewhere," he said and smiled when I stopped spinning and looked in his direction.

"Wow, you should be my tour guide," I joked, while a little part of me wanted it to come true. I mean a sweet, hot guy with an accent, what more could a girl ask for?

"I think we can arrange that," he smiled some more before walking over to me and taking my hand. He led me over to the swings, which funny enough was where I was wanting to go.

"So what is going on with your family?" he asked as we started swinging slightly. I looked over at him.

"I don't know," I said.

"You don't know what's going on? Or you don't know if you want to tell me?" Good question. I wanted to when we first started walking, but I'm not sure if I should tell him, will he totally just get up and run when he hears it all? Like what if he just asked so that i'd talk to him not to actually hear the real, long answer?

"The later of the two with a mix of the first," I said playing with the sand with my shoes. "Like I know we don't know each other, but what's stopping you from getting up and walking away or running. Like I need to share this but I don't want to get judged or anything, or you think I'm a total and complete weirdo slash nutcase," I rambled looking at my shoes and the sand cover then fall off them as I lifted my feet.

""Hey," He touched my shoulder making me shift my attention to his face, noticing he took off his glasses so I was looking into his bright blue eyes. "I asked you what was wrong and I'm going to stay until you tell me and I cam make it better," he looked deeply into my eyes making me smile before I had to look away the only guy that has ever looked at me like that was Bryan. "My name's Niall what's yours?" he asked offering out his hand.

"Emma," I smiled at him before taking it and giving it a firm shake.

"Now that we're not strangers, what is going on?" he asked and I nodded my head.

"Well," I went on to tell him everything, well mostly everything, and for the first time since I got here I was talking without my sensor. I was just saying everything that was coming into my head and yet he was still sitting there, just listening to my on going string of words.
