"Sorry," I whipped my hair out of my face to see a guy  standing there I'm guessing he was around my age maybe a little bit older. And let me tell you this guy had some sass to him. His eyes were a bright blue and his hair looked better than mine does on a good day. Even though his face looked very sour he was still very hot, wait can I say that since I'm guessing he's my step-brother?

"Yea," he looked down at me before looking away. I raised my eyebrows looking up at him before looking around the room and at my mom.

"Emma these are my kids, Charlotte, Felicite, Daisy, Phoebe and Louis," Mark must have sensed the tension because he spoke up fairly quickly. "Guys this is Emma," the girls politely smiled while Louis just looked me up and down.

"It's lovely to meet y'all," I smiled at them mentally cussing Louis in my head.

"Are you our new sister?" Daisy tugged at the hem of my shirt. I looked at Mark and he nodded.

"Yea I am," I nodded smiling at her.

"You're very pretty," she said making me smile.

"Well thank you sweetie, you are very pretty yourself. How old are you?" I asked still in awe that her and Louis were even related.

"Me and Phoebe are 8 years old. How old are you?"

"I'm 18," I swear this girl can put a smile on my face.

"Why don't we all sit down," Mark said his arm extended towards the living room.

"That was a horrible disaster," I put my head on my bed as soon as Lizzie answered the skype call.

"What happened?" she asked and I looked up at her on my screen.

"It was awful," I said I fake cried into the sheets.

"Okay head up," she said making me shake my head no.

"Head up!" she said in a stern tone. I slowly raised so she could see me.

"That's better now what happened?"

"Okay so I guess it wasn't all bad, the girls are really lovely and so cute and sweet," I was really still shocked that Louis was even related to them.

"And what about the guy?"

"He is a little jack butt!"

"Why?" she laughed slightly.

"Okay well things didn't start off well cause I kinda ran into him."

"Why?" she interrupted me.

"Well its not like I meant too I was walking down the stairs not paying attention and it just sorta happened," I watched as she shook her head. "Oh ssh."

"Whatever you say miss ADD, possibly ADHD," she smiled at me and I squinted at her.

"Anyways, he just sat there the entire time while we all talked he glared. Then when it was time for them to leave he just stormed out and told the girls he would meet them at the car. Like what the heck? He didn't even say goodbye to Mark," I rambled on.

"Well at least you and the girls got along and I'm sure he will come around," she tried to reassure me but it wasn't quite working out.

"Yea the girls are really cool. We got along really well. Their brother is just a a-hole," I shook my head.

"Lizzie are you coming to lunch with us?" Matt showed up in the corner of the screen.

"Yea I'll be down in a minute," she turned to look at her brother.

"Hey Emma!" he waved before plopping down on her bed next to her although I think that was more of a way to annoy his little sister than to actually say hi.

"Hey Matt," I smiled at him laughing slightly at the angered look she was giving him. I always wanted a relationship like theirs with a sibling. Now that I have an older bro he hates me. I know that Matt and Lizzie get on each other's nerves but they definitely don't hate each other and he's definitely not an a-hole.

"Get out," she growled at him.

"Jeez I'm just saying hi to our friend," he looked over at her sighing.

"No you're just being a boob now get out I have to get ready," she looked back at me rolling her eyes.

"Fine but if you aren't downstairs in ten minutes I'm leaving your butt," he stood up and started walking towards the door.

"Bye Em," he leaned down and waved.

"Bye," I laughed before he shut the door behind him.

"Can I kill him?" she asked as soon as it was closed.

"No," I laughed.

"Awe why not?" she pouted.

"Well for one I don't want to have to visit you in jail," I laughed some more.

"Fine," she sighed. "Well I better get going. Will you be alright?" she asked studying my face.

"I'll be perfect go have fun," I smiled at her.

"'Kay, but text me if you need anything."

"I will now go and have some food for me."

"I will bye sister," she said smiling blowing me a kiss making me laugh.

"Bye sis," I smiled. We had always been like sisters.

The screen went blue and then back to my background photo collage. I took a deep breath closing it shut and rolling over to look up at the ceiling. How am I going to fix this? What can I do to change his mind and his attitude about me? I have a feeling this might be a slight challenge.
