**Kevin's POV**
We walked out of the theatres and on our way to a restaurant. In this movie there were some animals getting married. It was actually stupid but when they were kissing, at least what it looked like, I slightly pressed her hand and there was no response. But the next time I pressed she held on it tighter. It was awesome. My heart was on the seventh heaven.
Till now our hands were locked and it was perfect date for me. "So what do you like to eat?"
She looked at me, "Anything that you would offer!"
"Ohk! Then no pasta because no one can make as good as you. Let's eat sea food! You okay with that?"
"Yeah I like them too."
"Cool! There's a place I know where we went two months ago. Its good."
We reached our car and I opened her the passenger door. The moment she sat in and I closed back, I missed her hand in mine.
A sudden realisation hit me, the car is automatic and I get a point! I can hold her hand again.
I sat in my seat and started the car. After two minutes I looked at her and where her hand is, I landed mine on hers.
"So how was the movie? You like it?" I asked to subside the awkwardness.
She interlocked our hands, "It was great. And it was the fifth part of Ice Age. I always wanted to see it. You know that the universe was formed by the explosion of big bang but in this they have showed that the crazy nut lover squirrel made it. Their imagination is a great gift to the world. And when those magnetic rocks-"
I zoned out because I have zero interest in it more over we have reached and I parked the car. I turned to her side and saw her still speaking. I just looked at her and she was all I can see. It felt so good that I was able to make her happy and feel safe. I felt the honor to make her feel what she deserves.
"Kevin! Where are you lost?" She shook me to wake me up.
"Oh nothing let's go!" I got out and I opened the door for her. Just as she came out I held her hand and locked it with mine.
We entered the restaurant and a lady walked in our direction.
"Hello Kevin! How are you?" She asked.
"I'm fine Helen."
"A table for two?"
"Yes please!" I smiled at her.
"This way please." She led the way ahead.
She found a table near the window and I pulled one chair for Lacey. I sat in front of her while Helen showed up with a notepad.
"Its been many days since your family hasn't visited here!"
"Yeah, well dad's really busy now a days. I'll remind him to visit again."
"And who do we have here?" She asked referring to Lacey.
"I'm Lacey. Kevin's friend! Nice to meet you mam." FRIEND! And there goes my heart in the flush tank. The word felt so painful.
"Nice to meet you too Lacey. So what would you like to eat?"
"What will you have?" I asked her. Remember, ladies first!
"Umm" she browsed through the menu, "I'll prefer a plate of scallops and some fries."
"Ohk" she worte it and turned to face me, "and you Kevin?"
"Make that two!" Let's see what her choice is.
"Will be right back." She walked away.
After a few seconds Lacey looked towards me, "So who's she? Looks like you know her well."
