Today was your 21st birthday and your boyfriend Niall wasn't going to be able to come tonight.
You assured him it was fine, but on the inside you really wanted him home.
"Happy Birthday Princess!! I love you so much!!"
You woke up to this text flashing across your screen with Niall's name above it. You replied thank you and that you loved him too.
You went downstairs to be greeted with a huge breakfast your roommate made you.
"Thanks girly!"
"You're very welcome. Now hurry up and get ready to parteh!"
You laughed soon finishing up and ran upstairs to get ready.
The party finished and your secret hope for Niall to return home for your birthday diminished as midnight was only five minutes away.
You got ready for bed in a T-shirt he left for you and a pair of shorts. You climbed into bed looking at the clock.
11:57.
You sighed longingly and closed your eyes. They shot open when you felt someone climb in next to you. You flipped around.
"Niall! What are you doing here?" You shrieked wrapping him in a hug.
"I'm not just gonna miss my princess' birthday now am I?"
You were overjoyed that he was here to question him any further. He wrapped his arm around your waist pulling you into him. You looked at the clock to see it just turning midnight. You smiled.
He had made it home just for you.
"Goodnight, Y/N."
"Goodnight, Niall."
You fell asleep wrapped in his arms smile spread across your face.
