"Megan!"

"Niall. Is that you?"

You ran up to your long lost friend. It has been over five years since you last saw each other. He was now 20 and you were 19. He gave you a huge Horan hug.

"How have you been?"

"Pretty good. Very crazy."

You laughed. "I bet."

"I missed you." He sincerely said looking deep into your eyes.

You got lost in the endless sea of icy blue. He leaned in and kissed you gently on the cheek. You blushed and looked down as he smiled widely.

"Join me for lunch?"

"I'd love to."

You sat back at the booth and he sat across from you.

"What are you doing back?"

"I'm on break and I really wanted to talk to you." He took ahold of your hands. "Megan, you don't even realize how much I have been crazy not being able to spend every second with you like we used to. I realized that I don't care anymore. I realized that we will always be best friends, but I want to be more. Would you be my girlfriend?"

You smiled.

You have always had a kid crush on niall and secretly wanted it to go further and now it was. You took ahold of his hands and decided to tease him a little.

You frowned slightly and look at him sympathetically.

"Niall." You started off sadly like you were breaking bad news.

"I knew it. I'm sorry. Can we still be friends at least."

You laughed at him. "I was going to say yes, but if you want to be friends."

"No. No no no no. I love you, Megan."

You giggled. "I love you too."

He leaned across the table and kissed you on the cheek.

"What are we going to eat, princess?"

That is where it all started.
