I heard a scream that pierced the air like a needle popping a balloon. I ran from the far end of my house to the kitchen where the noise seemed to have come from. "Is anybody here-" My words were interrupted by the grumble of my stomach. I walked over to the fridge to get some food to settle my unrelenting hunger. Come on let's be realistic. If something bad was going on, the only way I could conquer it would be on a full stomach. I pulled open the door quickly but before I could look inside a small word of help reached from... inside the fridge? I screamed as I opened the door all the way and a blue and shaking Leah fell out onto the floor.
"Leah! Leah are you ok?!"
"J-Jane- I—m dying."
"No you're not! Let's go warm you up."
I dragged her to the door which I then ope- attempted to open considering the fact that the door was locked. Ha! Nice try Jane. I just sat there and watched as Leah, my dear friend Leah began to slowly loose consciousness and take her last breath. Can we all have a moment of silence for Leah. RIP Leah 2017.
I sat down on the middle of the kitchen floor and laid my head on the cool tile. Thoughts ran through my head. "If I just died like this it wouldn't be painful. I could end it all now." I got up and went over to the cabinet where my mom stores the Advil. I reached my arm up to get to it. I strained my legs and balanced on my tippy toes, but not before a hard blast from my left knocked me over onto the ground where I blacked out.But I wasn't dead...
