*no cats were harmed in the making of this chapter*

My face was still numb where Hank hit me. I mean I guess I deserve it, but that's completely irrelevant. Anyways, I decided to get out of this frickin shed thing. Hank had already left, so I was all alone. It was probably some room where a murder stored their victims. Hence, I should probably get out. I walked up to the door, and turned the knob; surprised that it was actually unlocked. Gosh darn it's freezing out here, was my immediate reaction after leaving the room. Up the stairs I went, and out into Janes backyard. Suddenly, I see a creature dart across the yard. Probably one of her cats. "COME HERE KITTY KITTY!" The cat ran away, so being the dumb person I am, I ran after it in the freezing snow. "HERE KITTY KI—" There I was, my mouth full of snow, and my cheeks burning. Not to mention the searing pain in back. "Owwwwwww." Suddenly, the sound of a bell came towards me. "Meow."
"Hey kitty. Your names Trudy right?"
Random conscious: Cats can't speak you idiot!
"Oh yeah. I think your names Trudy." I picked her up and ran inside. Bad kitty. She's not supposed to be outside. I set her down and off she ran. Of course, I'm in a freaking haunted house that I don't know my way around, yet I run after the kitty. Like the idiot I am.

I quickly lose track of the cat, considering it's dark, and Trudy's fast. I somehow windup... I actually don't know where I was. All I know was that everything was PITCH BLACK. Suddenly I heard a meow coming from the corner of the room. I stood up and followed the sound. "Here kitty kitty, her kitty kitty." My voice echoed repeatedly. Then I realize it wasn't a kitty. I gazed into the eyes of— BAM! I was pushed through the hole in the floor and down I tumbled into certain death. Why did I follow a cat in the first place? Oh right, I'm stupid.

Don't ask why there was a hole in the floor. I wouldn't know.
