"Hello? Rampant killer are you there?" I peered out of the hallway and into one of the bedrooms in Jane's house. I think it was Hugh's room. "Hey Madelyn," I said catching sight of her.
"Hey Kelly." Madelyn swiftly responded. "Where did everyone go? They all started leaving so I came up here to actually get some rest." I headed over to the bed to lay next to her. "I could use some sleep, too..." I responded as I began to doze off.

"Kelly! Kelly wake up!" Madelyn said as she shock me. "Whaaaa?" I blankly responded, totally forgetting that all my friends were dying. "The doors locked!"
"What!?" I said and bolted up, recovering from my short term memory loss. All the things hank had said to me earlier that night flooded back to my head. I must have turned ghostly pale, because when I look at Madelyn, her eye brows were raised and her mouth, twitched downwards into a frown.
"K-Kelly what's wrong?" She asked.
"Ummmm, let's just say you probably don't want to know."
"Tell me!"
"Fine," I started, beginning to explain everything that I knew. At the end, Madelyn just sat there speechless. "I have so much to LIVE for!" She let out in a loud whisper. I sighed. Me too. Suddenly interrupting my thoughts there was a THUD! "OH MY GOD WHAT WAS THAT!?" Madelyn yelled. "Shut up!" I yelled back. I didn't want anyone to know we were here. Not that that mattered, because someone already locked us in here.

The thuds became more common and much louder. We did a little investigation to realize that the sounds were coming from directly above us. "Well there goes all my hope." Madelyn said. "Come on! We're going to survive this don't worry." I was more trying to convince myself than her. "Well what do YOU think all that noise is?" She asked, obviously paranoid. "Ummmm." For once in my life, I was at a loss for words. "Probably just someone drilling a hole in the ceiling to kill us."
"Exactly."
"Or maybe they are trying to make the ceiling cave in."
"Either way we're dead."
Well it happened to be that they were trying to cave in, as the banging continued all over the ceiling. "Kelly, listen to me very closely." Madelyn whispered to me. "In order to not die, we need to find a way to get out, without the killer noticing. Do you know how?"
"If I did I'd have probably done it by now—" Madelyn clamped her hand over my mouth.
"Shut up!" She hissed at me through a whisper. "Well..." I said, "I actually do have an idea."
"What is it?"
"Just hide under the bed. It'll probably protect us from falling debris."
"Ok sounds like a plan."

Madelyn and I squirmed under the bed. We barely fit. "This is so uncomfortable," I squeezed out. "Yeah," Madelyn responded. We heard another thump, by the door. I closed my eyes, and closed my mouth. This was going to be a long night.
