16) Date Disaster

*Josh's POV*

I'm so happy that I finally get to take that little lady on a date. I walked into Tyler's house "Hey  Ty what's wrong" I said sitting down next to him he looked so stressed "Josh...I've got some uh news" he got up and paced around for a little bit. I stood up and stopped him "Tyler? What's wrong" he stopped and started biting his nails "You know how we are supposed to leave in 6 days?" I nodded and he went on "Well actually change of plans...uh we leave tomorrow night, Jenna's gonna meet us there the next day" he sighed.

WHAT?! How could this happen?! I just stood there staring at Tyler in disbelief "But this can't be happening I have a date with C-" I stopped myself remembering. Ugh Chloe I'm so sorry, she's gonna hate me I'm such a terrible boyfriend "You have a date with who?!" Tyler said shocked I brushed it off "No one I said that wrong" I said way too quickly. My phone buzzed

Muffin: Hey stud I've got a question.

Me: Shoot

Muffin: Where are we going tomorrow cause I have no idea what to wear!!

About that.... I had to tell her my heart is breaking just about the thought of leaving her

Muffin: Hello??

Muffin: You there Josh?

I facetimed her because I couldn't go to her place at this time of night. She picked up all happy and smiley I couldn't possibly tell her now. We talked for about 3 hours and laughed constantly, it completely slipped my mind, we ended the call and just laid in bed "God I'm such and idiot" I thought to myself, I couldn't even tell her through call how am I gonna tell her in person? 

*TIME SKIP TO NEXT MORNING*

*Chloe's POV*

I was getting ready for my date with Josh, I finished curling my hair putting on my makeup and getting dressed. I sat on the couch looking through twitter and basically stalking clique accounts , I laughed at all the memes about Josh and Tyler. I saw some people call Josh Jishwa which made me laugh so hard and decided that it will be one of the many nicknames I'll give him. 

Their fans are so nice and really dedicated to them, I heard  knock at my door I got up straightened my skirt a little and opened the door. "Good morning! Ready for a eventful day?" Josh said smiling from ear to ear he seemed excited, "Who wouldn't be? I mean I am spending a whole day with THE Josh Dun" I said dragging my words.

 He laughed and we walked to the car, "So where are we going?" I said pushing my hair to frame my face he grabbed my hand "You trust me right?" our fingers intertwined "Uh yeah..." I'm confused but went along with it "Okay good so don't worry about anything" he smiled and continued driving. We arrived at an Ice skating rink and I immediately panicked. What if I fall and embarrass myself in front of him? Everyone will be staring at us, my face got all red and hot I was so nervous.

We got out of the car and walked over to the building, "just letting you know I'm a terrible ice skater" Josh said holding the door open for me. We got the ice skates and once we got on the ice we wouldn't let go of each other we both kept falling and slipping around. I can't lie it was a lot of fun and Josh made everything better, when I'm with him I felt like we were the only one's on the ice. We didn't specifically hold hands because we didn't want anyone to know about us yet, so I just held onto his arm and he was praying not to fall. We were having so much fun every second we were either laughing, cracking jokes, or falling then making fun of each other.

We lost track of time and apparently Josh had something else planned so we got the hell out of there and on to our next location.

"Josh wha-" I said but he cut me off "Chloe trust me babe come one" he smiled I sat back in the car and waited to arrive at our next destination. We arrived at a taco bell drive-thru ordered tacos and continued driving, we started slowing down and I looked up "oooo Can we go to Coney Island?! I haven't been there in years!" I said I was really excited. He parked and said "You read my mind" he smiled and kissed me. The sky was growing dark and we watched the sunset on the boardwalk, I just smiled the whole time.

Tonight was so perfect, the sunset is perfect, the food was perfect and Josh was perfect.

 We were holding hands and he let go and touched his face, I looked over at him and he looked miserable "Spook what's wrong?" I said turning to face him. He let a tear fall I got really worried "Josh..." I said again looking into his eyes, he leaned in and passionately kissed me. During this kiss my heart fluttered the whole time I finally felt love no let me correct myself I'm in love in love with this wonderful man, I never wanted this kiss to end.

He pulled away and sighed "God I'm gonna miss you soo much" he kissed my forehead and held me close, I love him so much "Chloe your gonna hate me so much" he buried his head in my shoulder "Josh can you tell me what's wrong?" I said kissing his cheek. "I'm leaving" he said "I know Josh but don't worry we still have 5 more days" I chuckled "More like 3 hours" he said pulling away and he sat down on a bench. What is he saying? 3 hours? "What do you mean 3 hours Josh I don't understand?" "There was a mix up and we have to leave tonight well in 3 hours... but I don't want too Chloe why don't you come with us?! Jenna is" my heart sank when he said this. I felt tears threatening to leave my eyes but I fought them "Oh Josh... you know I can't I have a job and school hopefully soon".

We both sat there in silence not knowing what to do "When are you coming back?" I said breaking the silence "4 months" he looked depressed I hate seeing him like this so I had to be strong for him "Well lets make these 3 hours count" I stood up and grabbed his hand we ran towards the rides and tried going on most of them.

 The last ride we went on was the Ferris Wheel it took Josh a lot of convincing to convince me to get on because of my fear of heights but I got on because it's my last day with him for a while. We got on and I held the teddy bear he won me on the side, we slowly made our way to the top and it stopped there for a while we sat there holding each other never wanting to let go.

 It was very relaxing to sit there in silence but a comfortable silence, when we got off we rushed to the car we were running a bit late so we were meeting Tyler at the airport.

We got to the airport and met Tyler, he was surrounded by fans Josh and I rushed to him and greeted them so they could leave. We stood in front of them and talked for a bit one girl gasped and pointed to me and Josh's hands we forgot that we were holding hands we both looked down and quickly let go and inched away from each other. All the fans started freaking out and so did Tyler they asked a million questions and Josh and I just looked at each other not knowing what to do.

Security guards came over and helped us get away from the fans Josh whispered in my ear "Oh man" I looked at him and smiled. I hugged Tyler and Josh and they were on their way to the other side of the world.

I didn't even get to say I love him
