23) Teddy Bear Betrayal

*Josh's POV*

I woke up thinking yesterday was just a dream but I looked to the side of me and nope not a dream there she was this beautiful girl in my arms and all mine.

She looked so peaceful I watched her sleep for a little I'm just so happy she's mine she started waking up "Hey" I whispered because the silence was perfect "How long you been up?" she asked rubbing her eyes

 "Not long" I smiled and pushed her hair behind her ear

"Why didn't you wake me up?" she said cuddling with me

 "You looked so peaceful I didn't want to ruin it" I said cuddling her back I felt her smile as her head rested on my chest.

Jenna burst into the room and threw a pillow at us "Get up lovebirds we've got things planned" Chloe got up and went to the bathroom to shower and she was doing her makeup.

 She walked out wearing her famous black ripped jeans a white t-shirt and a black jacket on top of it she looked lovely her makeup was light and her hair was curled naturally. The blue just made her look even more stunning I smiled and helped her put her makeup back into the bag "Thanks Spook" she said glancing at her phone I kissed her cheek and threw on my shirt.

We went sight seeing all day and it was extremely exhausting, night was approaching and we went out for a couple drinks and then to the carnival. Chloe and I had a blast we acted like teenagers we kept cracking stupid jokes that no one else understood. We got on a bunch of rides which Chloe hated because she hates rollercoasters but it looked like she was having a great time.

 I won her a little teddy bear that was holding the Eiffel Tower as a little memory, I really wanted to go on the Ferris Wheel but... she has a crippling fear of heights.

 "Come on it'll be fun" I said pulling her towards the wheel

"No Josh stop I'm really scared please" she was pulling away I walked closer to her she was shaking I felt really bad so I held her hand

"Chloe I'm going to be right next to you I will never let anything bad happen to you I promise" I kissed her forehead.

 She calmed down and looked up at me "And are you sure I won't fall?" she said so adorably I nodded and we walked towards it.

Once we got on Chloe wouldn't let go of my arm I could tell she was terrified I held onto her too just to make her feel safe. When we got to the top it stopped like it usually does and that's when Chloe started freaking out

"Josh? Um why did it stop? Did it break? Oh my god it broke didn't it? This is why I should've never agreed to this but I can't resist your face" she kept babbling on and she started having a panic attack

"Shh Chloe it's okay it's not broken this always happens I promised you nothing will happen okay?" I held her chin in my hands and I kissed her she immediately loosed up

 "Now I want you to look at this amazing view okay?" she hesitated but I pushed her face gently and her eyes were wide open she didn't even say anything she just gasped then after a while she smiled and hugged me "Thank you so much for making me do this".

 I hugged her back "I love you"

She whispered "I love you too" a tear fell down her cheek I got a little concerned

"What's wrong?" I said wiping the tear away "This is the first time I've ever felt real love since my family fell apart" she smiled and cried a little more

I just held onto her until the ride was over we sat in a nice comfortable silence the gang was waiting at the bottom for us. We got off the ride and started walking towards the exit
