42) Almost

*Josh's POV*

I've been thinking for so long about this one thing.....marriage.

I really want to marry Chloe I don't want to lose her again she's my other half the piece to my puzzle wow that was corny but you get it.

Last night I went out and got a ring because I'm ready and I'm not afraid of being turned down if she's not ready.

Although I don't think Chloe is ever going to be ready you see Chloe has commitment issues but I'm trying to change that.

I really see a future for us, last night we won an AMA award and it was amazing Chloe called me immediately after and said how proud of me she is.

It felt so good knowing someone I truly love is proud of me....Also Chloe's meeting my parents tomorrow night which is amazing and I know they are going to love her.

I told them so many things about her and my mom claims she loves her already.

I got a call from Chloe

"JOSH WHAT DO I WEAR?!" she screamed through the phone showing me a million different kinds of dresses

"Any of those will look perfect on you babe" I laughed I love that she's freaking out because that means she actually cares. My flight leaves in 1 hour so Tyler Jenna and I are already at the airport.

"Sooo when are you gonna do it?" Tyler said referring to the proposal

"Well I want it to be special but Chloe doesn't like drawing attention to herself so I was thinking I'd take her to the forest behind my house and decorate it with lights and propose there?" I said playing with my fingers Tyler smiled and Jenna awed

"Don't be nervous you'll do great!" Jenna patted my back.

We boarded the plane and we were on our way to Ohio Chloe is going to meet us there and that will give me plenty of time to set up.

We got off the plane ah I'm finally home we quickly got into a taxi and raced home because I need time to set up.

I'm extremely nervous but so freaking excited I have no idea how she's gonna react but all I know is that I love her so very much and I can't let her go anymore.

I walked into my old child hood home and my parents came and greeted me hugging me till I couldn't breath Jordan came around and gave me a hug too Ashley and Abigail are coming later on but they've already met Chloe at one of our concerts and they love each other so I have their approval.

Tyler helped me set up the backyard and honestly I think she will love it, we finished

Tyler took a step back "Wow man" he started tearing up.

I looked back at him "Tyler bud what's wrong?"  I walked up to him

he smiled and the tear rolled down his cheek "Your gonna get married...and my little "sis" is too oh my god" he pulled me into a hug and patted my back.

I laughed and hugged him back then we rushed inside because Chloe texted me that's she's 2 minutes away.

I ran up to my childhood bedroom and changed into some dress pants and a nice button down shirt I want to look good on this special night. Someone rang the doorbell and I ran down to get it

I opened the door and my heart dropped Chloe looked amazing I mean she always does but now the thought of her being my wife makes her even more special! She was wearing a black and gold dress that was airy and flowed around when she walked.

*Chloe's POV*

Oh man today is the day I meet Josh's parents and I have never been so nervous. I was relieved that Josh opened the door I walked in and he grabbed my hand and told me to breath. We walked into the dining room where his family was and I got extremely nervous.

Mrs.Dun walked up to me and I stuck my hand out "Nice to meet you Mrs.Dun" I managed to smile

she put down my hand gently and hugged me "In this house we hug! oh and please call me Laura my mother-in-law is Mrs.Dun" I laughed and she pulled away

I met Jordan and Bill (Mr.Dun) I have already previously met Ashely and Abigail before.

They were all so nice and kind to me throughout the entire dinner and not to mention the amount of times I almost spit out my food because one of them said something hilarious.

After dinner Laura told me to come with her into the living room and see baby pictures

Josh pulled my arm away from the living room "How about we go outside?"

Laura yelled at him "No Josh have some fun don't be embarrassed" she smiled

I laughed and pulled away I sat down I was looking at soo many fetus pictures of Josh and he was so adorable.

I looked up at Josh and he had his head in his hands "If it's bothering you that much Josh then I'll stop" I put my hand on his knee he smiled "Please".

Josh stood up "Mom can I steal Chloe now?"

She frowned "But it's my turn to spend time with Chloe" she joked I smiled and she smiled back at me "Fine take her"

We walked outside and it was absolutely so nice out it was warm but with a cool breeze it was perfect.

"Well it looks like my mom reallyy likes you because she never lets people call her Laura" Josh said smiling

I took a step back and gulped "What?..... YOUR MOM LIKES ME ?!" I got excited and gave him a hug

he hugged back and he smiled "Of course she likes you everyone does" I couldn't stop smiling .

We made it to the backyard and it was breathtaking the trees were lit up with sparkle lights it was so magical.

*Josh's POV*

Oh god I'm so nervous I might vomit but Chloe looks like she loves it. I took her hand and led her to the middle of all the trees I stopped and stood in front of her, "Chloe I have something to ask you" I said breathing a bit shakily

she smiled "I have something to say too....let me go first"

I got anxious

What does she possibly want to say?! Is she going to break up with me oh god no.
