Meth Drew's POV

I hadn't seen Amy since we heard the news.

Her mom legally disowned her. She had still been celebrating the win of the court case and this came as a shock to her. While she and her mom didn't get along, she was the only family Amy had left since her parents divorced and her Dad moved away. He hadn't bothered keeping in touch, which I know hurt Amy more than she would admit.

Walking through the house, trying to find her, I walked into the room we shared. The light was on in the bathroom, and I could hear her crying. Walking to the doorway, I saw something I would've never expected. There was my beautiful girlfriend, standing over the sink, with a razor against her bleeding wrist.

Quickly, I disarmed her and held her wrist under the faucet as water washed the crimson drops down the drain. What was she thinking?!

"I was thinking about how much it must hurt to be near me. My sister killed herself, my dad moved away, my mom disowns me... Was I really that bad to be around?! I just wanted a family, I just wanted love! Is that too much to ask? And you probably want nothing to do with me either..." she said bitterly. I turned her to me, my eyes darkening with anger.

"That is the first time you've ever been wrong about what I think," I growled in a hoarse voice that I hadn't used in years. Then I kissed her.

Amy Glenn's POV

I was shocked right out of my self-pity.

When Meth pulled away from me, my eyes were wide.

"Did you just..?" I began hesitantly, not sure if this was just a trick. He smirked at me, sliding his hands down my ribs to rest on my hips and pull me closer.

"Yeah, I just did," he said, the masculine voice like music to my ears. It was rough and hard-edged, the epitome of the man before me. "And now I can't seem to stop..." he left off, lowering his lips to my neck. I was still speechless, but everything his lips were doing to me caused a physical reaction. "Do you still think I don't want you?" he whispered enticingly. I shook my head, not able to answer. "I love you, Amy," he growled, "and don't you ever forget it. Because you are mine." He brought his lips back up to mine, but not after kissing my injured wrist. He made me feel wanted and safe, something I hadn't ever felt before.

After kissing for a little bit longer, and Meth bandaging up my wrist, we went back to where Brielle, Brighton, and Adele had been celebrating. Brighton lifted me up and spun me around, giddily.

"What's got you all excited?" I asked after he put me down, hopping up on the counter. I picked up Adele and sat her in my lap.

"Nana says we awe moving to the city!" Adele clapped excitedly. She looked so happy to be with us. I realized then that this is the family she would have; not my parents, not my sister, but her Nana, her Glow Worm, her Daddy, and her Mommy. We were a family, and we would never be separated.

"Oh, really? And when is this happening?" I asked Brielle with a raised eyebrow, who had a huge smile on her face.

"Surprise!" She offered weakly.

I could only shake my head at her.

"We're leaving next week, when you guys are on break. Amy, you're already all packed from your move, but we all have to pack. And we are going to have to refurnish the apartment in the city... It's a three bedroom apartment. I'll have one room, and Adele will stay in the same room as you, Amy, and Meth, you can either room with Brighton or Amy..."

"You know, most parents wouldn't let their son stay in the same room with their girlfriend?" Brighton commented. I snickered.

"What's he possibly going to do? The baby will be in there!" I replied, putting Adele on the ground so she could dash off and amuse herself while the "adults" talked. "How are we paying for this?" I asked, looking at Brielle again. She smiled at me softly.

"Don't worry, sweetheart, I'm not paying for all of it. Your income is sky high as a performer from McDonough Records, and your first paycheck already arrived. I mean, I am your accountant. I do handle all the monetary things. Brighton already agreed, and Meth has, as well. What do you say?" I was hesitant. I had never fully depended on anyone except Meth... "Please? Don't take away an old woman's fun!" I laughed at her pleading face.

"You're not old, Brielle," I said after agreeing, a smile still on my face. "Well, let's get everything packed!"

For the next few days, we were ecstatic, packing and laughing and joking around. Even Meth joined in, bringing his mother to tears. We were happy. The past was in the past, and nothing could bring us down.
