Brighton Andrews' POV

Our second concert was in New Jersey. Arriving in the state that I had heard about for the past few days was a relief. I was starting to wonder if this had all been a dream.

"Glow Worm?" Adele asked sleepily from her bunk across from me. It was late at night, and Adele had been sleeping peacefully until we hit a substantially large pothole a few seconds ago...

"Yeah, Princess?" I whispered, trying not to wake up Amy or Meth. We were all exhausted, and being that it was half past midnight, the two lovebirds were out cold.

"Awh we in New Jewsey yet?" She asked innocently. In the dark, I could barely make out her face, which was still positioned on her pillow, but I could tell she was falling back asleep fast. With a small smile towards her, even though she probably couldn't see it, I told her where we were. "Awight," she said as she fell back asleep quickly. Groaning softly, knowing that I wasn't about to go to sleep again now that I was up, I went out into the lounge room and picked up a notebook and a book light. Stan and I held a conversation for a little while about how he became nocturnal when he took this job and stuff, but the entire time, I was writing lyrics. And they weren't half bad.

When I finished my poem, I went back up the ladder to my bunk, forgetting about the lyrics that I had left on the couch. With the gentle orange glow of sunlight starting to seep through the window, I finally fell asleep.

When I woke up the next day, it was around ten. Brielle had made sure to let me sleep in, and she made me a late breakfast of pancakes and strawberries.

I love our family...

Thinking back to the night before, I remembered the lyrics I had written down. Where was my notebook? Looking around half-heartedly, I couldn't find it. Oh well, it's around here somewhere...

The concert in Jersey was amazing, even if I did get told off by the stage manager that no one says New Joisey... Hey, it's not my fault that I've always heard it that way! But, d*mn, she was hot...

Moving on!

I can't let my mind wander because I'm watching Adele while Amy and Meth go on a date. Brielle can't watch her because she's working at the table, and all the girls from Poe's Raven are with Terra, having a meeting, or whatever. It doesn't matter to me, this gives me time with the "Little Princess".

I smiled to myself, but my expression went back to a scowl when I remembered what I was doing. Seriously, I know I'm British but, of all the things this two year old was into, did it have to be tea parties?

Looking down at the extra small purple tutu I was wearing over my black jeans, I sighed. Even though it was coming off the second I heard a knock on the door, might as well enjoy the moment...

Meth Drew's POV

When Amy and I had come back from our successful date (which are difficult to come by when you're being stalked by people with cameras), we walked into the bus to find Brighton sleeping on the lounge area floor, wearing one of Adele's tutus, quite a bit of costume jewelry, and a plastic tiara, with Adele clutched to his chest. Amy got a picture before my snickering woke him up.

"Hey, mate," he muttered, his accent even thicker in his sleep. "What time is it?" Amy took Adele from him and went to go put her into her bunk. I smirked.

"Time for you to get a mirror," I said out loud, my voice still gruff with disuse. He looked at me for a minute, confused, and then his eyes popped open.

Refusing to look down at himself, he looked at me pleadingly. "No..." He begged, using the green couch to propel himself up. My smirk stayed on my face. "Please, no..."

"Pictures and everything," I answered calmly, pulling my hood off as I sat down. He was completely panicked, looking me over for a camera.

"Amy?" He called softly, looking at where she had disappeared into Mom's room. He started towards it, ready to pounce. "Amy?" He burst into Mom's room, and I heard her shush him as Amy laughed. I heard her squeal, and then suddenly, he was walking back down the hall with my girlfriend over his shoulder, a stern look on his face.

"Meth... mate, please... Make her give me the picture," he groaned, tossing her into my lap, quickly but gently. I shook my head and put my arm on the couch where she sat up and snuggled into me. "Aw, come on, what happened to bros before h..."

"Don't finish that sentence," Amy cut him off. "Adele isn't fully asleep, yet." He sat down on the other side of her sulkily, and held her free hand. We stayed quiet until Amy decided to go to bed, but it was a comfortable silence. No pretenses, no drama, just us and our friendship.
