It has been two days since inannounce kung kailan ang exact date magsisimula ang Music Competition at ayun ang mga coordinator, faculty members, at student council, hindi magkanda-ugaga sa pagmamadali. Hindi naman pwedeng tumulong kaming mga students kasi kailangan daw naming magpractice para sa elimination.
Next week na kasi yung class elimination and dalawang banda lang per section ang mapipili. Since walo ang sections namin per grade, sixty-four bands would go to the inter-batch elimination tapos anim lang sa mga iyon ang mapipili.
The week after class elimination is inter-batch at pagkatapos ng isang linggo, against Kings High na. Tapos ang mananalo, see you soon, Texas!
"Okay, okay, okay. So final na to ah?" Paglilinaw ni Heart. Nandito kami sa may Music room kaya dinig na dinig namin ang pagkakagulo na nangyayari sa loob ng Theater. Heart raised the paper in front of her and read it. Pinag-awayan rin namin to ng dalawang araw at ngayon lang kami nagkaayos. "Alika will be the vocalist and rythmic guitar, lead guitarist and second voice si Keiza, bassist and second voice si Moira, I'm the pianist and Ylana is the drummer."
She paused for a while to looked at our reactions. We nodded and she let out a sigh of relief. Lagi kasing dito kami nag-aaway eh.
She cleared her throat before continuing. "Our song for the class elemination will be Side to Side by Arianna Grande and, hopefully, for the batch is 24K Magic na pwede pang mabago. 'Kay?" Tingin ulit niya saamin. Muli naman kaming tumango.
"Oh, right. Guys, guys, guys!" Alika called our attention. "When do we practice?"
They looked at me this time. Ako kasi ang nag-aasikaso ng mga schedule namin kaya umasa na sila sa akin.
"Are you guys free over the weekend? Punta kayo sa condo namin ni Alika at dun nalang mag-practice. Hmm?" I suggested.
"Syempre, pwede ako." Mabilis na sagot ni Alika. "I live with you."
"Not sure yet but I'll ask." Sabi naman ni Ylana.
"Same." Tango ni Moira.
"I don't think we're going somewhere." Heart answered.
"What else are we missing?" Tanong ni Moira at nangalumbaba.
Yay! Time for my idea! My oh-so-brilliant idea! Hohoho!
"Clothes! Yung sosuotin natin!" Hyper kong sabi na may pataas-taas pa ng kamay. Hehe. Excited eh! Bat ba?!
"Kahit ano nalang ang isuot natin. Pwede naman eh." Irap ni Moira. I pouted. Baliw rin tong isang to eh. Dati, gusto akong maging kaibigan ngayon naman sinusungitan ako. Luh! Bipolar, teh? Bipolar? Split personality, ganern?
"Nooo!" Apila ni Alika. Ha! Fashionista nga pala toh! Yes! May kakampi ako! "Mas maganda kung themed ang suot natin! O basta almost matching or something. Diba? Diba?" Ako naman ay sabik na tumango-tango. Moira looked at me as if I grew two heads and rolled her eyes.
