"Ugh." I groaned, wiping my sweaty forehead. It's Sunday, the day after the Interbatch Competition, and we were standing underneat the scorching ball of flame - the sun. It's only been around ten minutes since we came out here yet I was already drenched in sweat!
Xyrus, who was standing beside me, nudged my shoulder. "You doing well?"
"Yes! Definitely! Water isn't soaking me wet and I am absolutely not perspiring the hell out." I snapped sarcastically. He chuckled lowly before streching his hand out, a handkerchief on it.
I happily reached for it, only to grasp air when he retracted his arm. "Hey!" I pouted.
He gave out a laugh and brought it nearer again. Before I could snatch it from him, he moved his hand closer to my face and wiped the sweat of himself.
Pinikit ko ang isa kong mata ng daanan yun ng towel. "O-oy. Kaya ko na." Mahina kong sabi habang sinusubukang kunin yung pamunas. He just smirked at me and caught my hands with his other hand and continued wiping my face.
Napatitig ako sa kaniya na pursigido sa pagpupunas ng mukha ko. Ngayon ko lang napansin, gwapo rin pala tong si Xyrus. He doesn't look as bad as how I looked at him before. Marami talagang nagbago sa kaniya while we were ayaw from each other.
"You done staring?" Namula ako sa sinabi niya. Shete ka, Keiza! Tititig-titig ka, magpapahuli ka pa!
"H-hoy! K-kapal muks mo ah! H-hindi ako natitig noh!" Apila ko habang nakaiwas ang tingin sa kaniya, trying to hide my face.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever helps you sleep at night." He teased making me blush harder.
Nananahimik na kaming dalawa ng biglang sumigaw si Moira na nasa kabilang gilid ko. "Aist! Wala pa ba sila?"
Sasagot na sana ako kaso naunahan ako ni Xyrus. "Ay, nandyan na. Kitang-kita kasi dito na andyan na sila, eh, di ba?" He sarcastically said which made Moira roll her eyes.
"Che! Ewan ko sayo!" She glared at him at binigyan naman siya ni Xyrus ng mapanlokong tingin.
Papalit-palit ko silang tinignan. "Alam niyo, ang cute niyong dalawa. Bagay na bagay."
Naputol ang titigan moment nila at sabay na napalingon sa aking ng nanlaaki ang mga mata. "A-ANO?!"
"Eww, no!" Sigaw ni Moira.
"Asa! May iba na akong gusto noh!" That statement caught my attention kaya napatingin ako sa kaniya.
Pero bago pa man ako maka-react, dumating si Ms. Mitzy. She clapped her hands tiwicd to get our attention at natahimik naman kaming lahat.
"Okay, everyone. They're here." She informed. Nagsi-ayusan naman kami at tumingin sa gate na paasukan nila.
After a few seconds, three vans made their way into our school, stopping in front of us.
Before the first van even stopped moving, a window opened and a guy's face peeked out from it. "Hola, amigos! Wazzup!"
