"WAAAAH!!!"

"Ang ingay mo, Xero!" Inis na sigaw ni Ylana kay Xero na tumili.

He stuck out his tongue, rubbing his nape. "Hehe. Sowry naman."

"Hands up, Lektret!" A girly voice I know almost too well screamed as the sound of a gun being coced resonated through out the room. "And, please! Kill the creepy lightning, will you?!"

Xenon heaved a deep sigh beside me. "You guys are late."

"Sorry, man. Na-traffic, eh." Another familiar deep voice replied. Hindi pa man namin makita kung sino ang mga pinto dahil sa liwanag na nanggagaling sa labas ay alam ko na agad kung sino sila.

"Nyka...Keith...guys..." I mumbled.

"Are you guys alright?" It was Rey's voice who asked this time. Sinagot lang namin siya ng tango.

Ylana stepped forward but was abruptly stopped by the 'Lektret's electricity.

Nyka who put her gun down earlier raised it once again, pointing at the Lektret. "Hey! I said kill those electricity-lightning stuff!"

"GRAAAAWR!!!" It roared at her, charging at their direction, but was stopped short by a blade being thrown at its direction, landing on his stomach. The Lektret screech making us cover our ears at the loud noise. The noise boomed loudly while the Lektret froze on its spot, not moving even an inch.

"Ang ingaaaay!!!" Tili ni Pam.

"Ang sakit sa tenga!!!" Duktong ni Rey.

"Ang ingay na nga, dinadagdagan niyo pa!" Wika ni Dylan na napatikom ng bibig nang pinalo siya ni Riella sa braso.

"Hunter! Do something! Hindi mawawala yang ingay hanggang di natatapos ang isang oras!" Utos ni Alika while Ylana, who was beside her, had her hands on her ears and eyes gazing at us in shock and curiosity.

"What the hell is happening?" I caught her murmuring.

I glanced at her in worry before letting my eyes land on Hunter. He had his right hand up in front of him, looking at the Lektret, no hands covering his ears. I gaped at him. How the hell?

Nabaling ang tingin ko kay Xero na nasa likod namin ni Xenon nang magsalita siya. "Hunter has a special ability just like me, Alika and Sync. He can control the direction of which the sound waves travel to."

In awe, the only reply I could come up with was a nod. Why haven't I seen this special trait of their's in the book? Sure I'm familiar with all these supernatural stuff because of my brother but...seriously? A human - well, they're technically human, too, just from a book - having power? Awesome!

Unti-unting humihina yung tunog hanggang sa tuluyan na itong mawala. At pagkawala nito, bigla namang gumalaw ang kaninang ala-statue na Lektret. It fell down on the floor, clutching its ears, struggling as if it were in pain.
