Rome

I walked inside of the hotel room, coming back from the jewelry store with a small box and bouquet of white roses in my hand. I bought something from the jewelry store for Candace that I think she'd like. I looked around the room, not seeing her anywhere in sight. Her phone was on the nightstand so she had to be somewhere near. I saw the bright light coming from the bathroom and figured she was in there getting ready. I walked inside of the bathroom, seeing her putting her hair up into a bun in front of the mirror. She was wearing a long-sleeved denim dress that did well in hiding her baby numb, and black knee-high boot heels to go along with it. Her makeup was done and I had to admit, she was looking good as fuck, but that's everyday.

"I figured you were in here." I chuckled, finally speaking before she turned to me. "You look gorgeous."

"Thank you." She blushed before leaning in to hug me.

"You're welcome baby. I got these for you." I said, referring to the box and roses, before she let go of me.

"Awh you didn't have to." She smiled wide before taking the box and bouquet from me.

"I wanted to. You deserve it." I told her, leaning against the counter.

"What's this?" She asked, holding up the jewelry box.

"Open it up." I told her before I watched her set the bouquet down and open up the jewelry box.

Her eyes widened upon opening it. "I love it!" She smiled. It was a pure gold necklace that had my basketball number on it.

"Glad you do

"Glad you do." I smiled before she gave me another hug.

"Put it on me?" She asked before I took the necklace out of the box and put it around her neck. "It's perfect."

"You're my girl and I want everybody to know that you rocking with me." I told her.

"I'm never gonna take it off." She smiled, looking up at me.
