Rome
After my meet up with Olivia, I decided to hurry home so that I could talk to Candace about it all. I didn't know how I was going to approach her with it but it needed to be done before she found out from somebody else. Pulling up to the house, I quickly got out of the car and made my way inside. I heard chattering coming from the living room and knew that Candace had to be in there. I walked to the living room and saw Candace sitting and talking with Crystal.
Why does Crystal have to be around every time I need to talk to Candace about something?
"Hey baby." Candace smiled upon seeing me.
"Hey." I said, giving her a light smile before turning to Crystal. "Hey Crys."
"Hey Rome." Crystal smiled. It was a shock that she was actually being nice today. Candace seemed to be in a good mood too and I definitely didn't want to drop the bomb on her now, especially not while Crystal is here to witness it.
"How'd your meeting go?" Candace asked as I walked over to her and sat down next to her.
"It was fine. I wanna talk to you about something though..." I said nervously.
"Oh lord, what did you do now?" Crystal asked, rolling her eyes.
The pressure was on now. I could either come out and say it now or stall until Crystal decides to leave. But with the way things are looking now, it doesn't look like Crystal will be leaving anytime soon. However, I could do something that would force Crystal to leave.
"Why you always think I'm doing something?" I chuckled.
"Because you are always doing something." Crystal replied while shaking her head.
"Well if you must know, I wanted to take my girl out today but I can't do that with you around now can I?" I asked as she glared at me.
"So basically this is your polite way of kicking me out?" Crystal asked as she stood up.
"Sorry bud, I hate to see you go but your time is up." I smiled as I escorted her to the door.
"I'll talk to you later Crys." I heard Candace say from behind me as I closed the door. "So where are we going?"
"Uhhhh..." I said while rubbing the back of my head, thinking of where I could possibly take her. "It's a surprise."
"Am I going to like this surprise?" She asked.
"Of course." I smiled as I grabbed my car keys. "Come on, you'll love it."
Three Hours Later...
I ended up taking Candace to one of those prenatal massage places to get a quick massage. Then I took her to the mall and let her go crazy with my credit card, which I kinda regret doing but it made her happy so it's fine. Now, we were at the nail salon since she's been telling me that she wanted to get her nails done but hasn't had the time to do so. I was still trying to find the perfect time to tell Candace about all this shit that's been going on with Olivia.
"Which color should I get?" Candace asked before I looked through the polishes.
"I like the white." I said as I picked up the polish.
