Delilah's P.O.V.

It was the next day, Monday, another day to face school. Ugh. Lunch was the worst. Everyone split into groups at lunch, and I'm pretty sure you can guess we weren't exactly the most popular. It was the cool kids, the nerds, anime freaks, gross kids, fangirls/fanboys. And us. Usually I sat next to Cameron and Oliver, sometimes a few other friends from my class. Now dimples too! " Where's Dakota?" Cam asked with a mouth full of chips. " Dimples- I mean Dakota said he had to use the bathroom.
She laughed. " I see you already gave him a nickname! Dimples!!!! You must really like him."
My cheeks were getting hot, I was probably blushing like mad.
" I don't blame you, he's pretty hot."
" Jesus Christ Oliver don't every sneak up on me like that!" I sighed.
" You know we're talking about the new kid Dakota right?" She frowned.
He shrugged. " Yeah."
Well it's confirmed now!
Dakota sat down across from me, what had taken him so long?
" Sorry a teacher snagged me in the hall." He grinned, pulling out a bag of chips. I grinned back, I could see Cameron creating a heart shape with her hands. I kicked her forcefully under the table and she winced. Dakota frowned. " How come everyone is separated?" He questioned. Cam and I shrugged, while Oliver sat and stared at him. Creepy much? " Is that your natural eye color?" He asked.
He looked a little creeped out, but he nodded. " That's a beautiful color." He breathed. Dakota awkwardly smiled back. " Don't worry, he's always this weird." I whispered. I got the feeling Dakota would like my friends. Soon enough.
