Phil's P.O.V.

" So you see, there's something going on with Dakota's parents." I sighed.
Delilah stared at me, her face full of uncertainty. " Dad what are you talking about?" She asked, knitting her eyebrows together.
" As Dan went to apologise to Dakota, he heard- " So you heard all of this from dad?" I nodded my head.
" He's probably just making something up because he's still uneasy about dimples!" She exclaimed, crossing her arms.
" No, no, no! I'm sure Dan is telling the truth Lilah." I replied, frustrated she didn't believe me. She rolled her eyes and flopped onto the couch.
As she did so, the door burst open revealing Dakota and Dan standing in the doorway. " We all need to have a talk." Dan announced. Delilah stared at Dakota and mouthed the words " help me".  He immediately walked over to the couch and sat down next to her. Dan just smiled and went over to the couch, not even giving him a single glare. " Okay listen, I know Delilah doesn't believe us and you probably think I'm crazy. But please hear Dakota out." I pleaded.
She sighed. " Okay, go ahead dimples."
He grinned. " One of the reasons I moved was because of... bullies... But that's not important! Anyways, they also moved because of something else. One night they went out to do something, wouldn't tell me what it was, and after they came back they said we needed a new "scenery".
Also, Dan and I heard them talking about if we found out about their secret, you know what would happen. Delilah, you have to believe us."
She managed a smile. " Okay, what can I do to help?"
