Delilah's P.O.V.

I stared in shock, my eyes locked on Dan's brown ones." I guess you just couldn't stand the fact I had a guy friend. I tried to get you used to him, but I guess you can't control yourself." I mumured. He opened his mouth as to say something, but nothing did. Just small breaths and unknown sounds.
As I picked up my bag, I stormed into my room, flopping onto my bed as the door slammed shut. " Great, just great. Thanks dad! Dimples will never be my friend ever again, much less like me." I sighed in fury, burying my face into a pillow. Buzz! Buzz! A loud sound was coming from under my bed, along with loud buzzing sounds.
I reached under my bed, completely flipping over as I attempted to get my phone." No one saw..." I whispered to myself. Staring at the caller I smiled. Avery, someone that could cheer me up anytime. " What's up Avery?" I said excitedly.
" Potato. Hi Delilah!"
" That's my Avery, how has your science project with Cameron been coming along?"
" Great actually! We're almost done and we even made a poster to go along with it. How's yours going with Dakota?" She giggled.
*Sigh*
"Actually things haven't been going to well."
" Well what's wrong Lilah?"
" Everything was going just fine, we were going to start our volcano. Then Dakota did something that made Dan crack. So he slapped him and sent him on his way. Now he probably hates me..."
" Oh Delilah... MAKE DAN FRICKING APOLOGIZE OR I'LL SLAP HIM!!!!!!"
"I thought you liked Dan?"
" I do, but he has to patch things up with Dakota. Anyways I got to go, I have practice. Tell Dan what I told you. Bai!!"
" Thanks Avery, bye!"
I hung up and smiled, opening the door and heading into the kitchen.
" Dad?"
" Yeah Lilah...."
" You need to apologise to Dakota, right away."
" You're right, I'll do it right now!"

Dan's P.O.V.

" You can do this Dan, it's just a nine year old. The nine year old you slapped and kicked out of your house.
What the hell was I thinking...."
I fiddled with my hands, running my fingers through my fringe. Then all of a sudden I heard whispers, just faintly though. " Honey you can't let Dakota know, much less our neighbors."
" What if they're onto us?!?! They could blow our cover. And what if our son knows? Then he'll tell his little friend and you know what will happen." I covered my mouth, holding my breath. Dakota's parents were hiding something, and I was going to find out what was going on.
