I awoke with my soft pillow pushing against my stomach, dry tear stains plotted on the case. My face felt tight, over dried. Hair covered my face messily, my small amount of make up smudged across my itchy eyelid.
I frowned when I saw the suns light rise slowly over the smooth cliff. Before I could embrace the moment, a guard slammed open the door, making my heart beat faster in less than a single second. His dull voice echoed through the room "It's time Miss Lee" he said.
Slowly he walked behind me and lead me towards the cliff, where my execution would be held. I didn't care about dyeing anymore, I didn't care about anything, not after my mothers sad word "Me". As I walked past her, I mumbled a rude word and didn't show eye contact. I truly hated her, more than anything. I quietly lay on the stone table, arms crossed. The king walked over and looked at me, raising his white eyebrow.
"Let's get it over with then!" I shouted at him. He jumped back, amazed at my anger and carelessness. He signalled my mother over, walking backwards slowly. "Hello Mother!" I said, avoiding eye contact.
"Lee"
"So are you excited about this execution?"
"Lee! You Know I would never...."
"Enough with the baby talk! Get it over with! I don't care about any of you! All of you are fucking Bastards!"
"Lee! your language!"
"I don't give a shit!"
"Lee! Just stop this! You know I care for you!"
"Yeah! We all can see that!"
An awkward silence overrun the air before a large horn screamed. We all turned and a large army marched its way towards us slowly. My eyes widened as I remembered. Kenneth said he would bring an army to overrun the Royals.
"It's Kenneth!" I shouted.
"Kenneth? Not that bastard!"
"Mum! Your language!" I said, before bursting with laughter.
"We better get ready! Dan! Assemble the army! If a war is what Kenneth wants, it's a war he shall get!"
