New Gift, Were Did It Come From

I fluttered my eyes open slowly as the light came bursting in. I turned to see Harold sleeping on the chair. I looked the other way to see my parents huddled up together, eyes shut. The minute I fully opened my eyes, Harold awoke and moved up to my bed quicker than I had ever seen him do in human form.

"Are you Ok Lee? You had me worried. You've been out for 4 days! We all started to think your dead!"

I raised and eyebrow. "WAIT! 4 days?!"

My shout wakened my mother and father. The burst into tears before diving at me, kissing my forehead multiple times I started to think saliva was all over it.

"I'm so glad your safe dear! You had us all worried!" My mum said, keeping me in her arms. A doc came rushing in, he then checked me for any problems. "Her life energy is almost full, filling up as we speak. But how?"

Harold looked down at the ground while we all looked at him with suspicion. "Harold, anything to tell us? I promise you, if it's an insult or threat or anything like it, good luck trying to win the fight with us" my father said, slowly turning his stretched hands into burning fists.

"Um.... I'd like to tell her first, then she can tell you if you don't mind"

My father searched him slowly until he gave in. "You hurt my daughter, I'll hurt you" he said, walking out with the doc and my mum by his side. I turned to Harold when they all left. I sat on the side of my bed, looking at him. "So Harold, you wanted to tell me something?"

"Yeah.... Just brace for this"

"Ok..."

"I...I....I...."

"You what Harold?"

"I.... Kissed you when you were starting to get unconscious. I had to give over my gift somehow!"

"Thanks Harold but why? why me?"

"Your... Your my beloved! Don't you see?!"

I was startled at his confession but remained calm. I walked up to him and laid my lips on his, slowly and passionately kissing his smooth lips. He was amazed by my sudden move, but he soon joined in, kissing me back. He stood up so I wrapped my legs around him. He gripped my butt tightly until laying me on the bed.

I knew what his next move was, so I quickly sped around him. I leaned in and whispered in his ear "Not today, your still human and the adrenaline would be too much."

He turned and kissed my forehead lightly then looked at me with love. I think my eyes turned black the moment he looked at me with his warm brown eyes. I kissed him and walked out, thinking of him always.
