Chapter thirteen

Beatrice laid their trying to sleep but all she could do is think about what happened. The night he drugged and raped her, but also those months they had together and how broken she was after he split. She untangled her body from Carl's and got of the bed trying to not wake up anyone. She grabbed her phone and went down stairs. She sat in the kitchen and drank some water.

That didn't help so she went upstairs and got a joint from Carl's draw, lighter, also a pair of shorts that she rolled up and went outside. She walked until she was under the L. Where she sat against a pole. She lit the joint and started taking drags. She got a text from Carl.

Carl🖤 - where are you, are you okay???? Xx

Bea👑❤ - yeah just under the L smoking xx couldn't sleep

Carl🖤 - be there soon xx

Bea smiled god this boy was going to be the death of her. She knew she was independent but she wanted him, she needed him. A few minutes later Carl was with Bea. 'You scared me I though you ran away or someone took you' he told her. She just smiled and stood up. 'I wouldn't run away, and I would kill anyone that tried to take me.' Bea said laughing at her own joke, but it wasn't really a joke.Bea and Carl started to walk around the streets. Bea started to get cold so they went home. As they were walking Carl intertwined their hands. Beatrice didn't mind she liked Carl's company.

When they got home they sat on the couch, and talked. Bea finally got tired and Carl got a blanket. Carl laid on the bottom with Bea on top of him. He put the blanket over them and put his arms around her waist. He was about to say goodnight when her realised she was already asleep. He kissed her head and fell asleep himself.

The next morning Carl and Bea woke up to Debbie taking a photo of them together and everyone staring at them. Bea got up blushed, as Carl pulled her into his chest and held her head . 'Stop your making her uncomfortable' Carl said making everyone laugh. They went on making breakfast. Bea went home and Carl went over with her making sure she was safe. He stayed with her until sam got home. Carl was next to her all the time besides when she went into the bathroom to shower. Tony and the other police officer came around and told her that their is a court date that she had to attend and they asked if she would testify. She agree and said thank you to tony.

The rest of the day her and Carl cooked and baked cakes and cookies. They dropped some at Kev and V's, the Gallagher's and also at the police station, which Carl refused to go into.

They then returned to Beatrice's house. Sam was home this time. 'Hey thanks Carl for staying with her' Sam said, 'no worries' Carl smiled. Thy went up to the roof and Carl seemed quieter. 'Hey what's got you quiet?' Bea asked. 'Bea I'm going to say this but I want you to think of me as the same person okay?' He said and Bea just nodded. 'I think I like you a lot' he said Bea just smiled and started laughing. 'Same idiot why do you think I put up with your stupid ass?' Bea told Carl. Carl kissed her on the lips and she kissed him back. Bea finally felt complete, like Carl was the finally puzzle piece.
