Chapter thirty

Bea woke up to Fiona shaking her awake. Fiona gave Bea a sympathetic look. 'Hey Bea you have school in an hour. Want to join us for breakfast?' Fiona asked whispering. 'No thanks I'll get liam dressed and I'll head back to mine since I need to talk to the principal' Bea thanked. Fiona nodded and walked down stairs to make breakfast. 'Hey liam, time to get up and dressed buddy' Bea said tickling him lightly. He rubbed his eyes and got out of bed. Bea got out clothes for him to wear. Liam got changed and Bea put some shorts on that she left over one time at the Gallagher's. She took liam down stairs and then left the house. She ran up stairs and got changed kissing mickeys head as she went by his sleeping body on the couch.

She came back downstairs 15 minutes later and. Quickly cleaned up the beer bottles and cigarettes. 'Mickey im going to school be back later go out and do something' she said when he finally got up. She rushed out the door and met Debbie at the bus stop. 'Hey heard what happened last night. You okay?' Debbie asked Bea as they sat down. 'Yeah I'm just glad lip and his friend was their to get the college ass off me' Bea laughed. Debbie just continued to talk to Bea about Derek and how she met his family the other day when Bea was with lip. Bea knew something was off about Derek but didn't know what so she didn't want to hurt Debbie.

They got to school and Bea went to the office. 'Can I please speak to the principal?' Bea asked the man sitting at the office desk. 'Yes he is available right now just knock before you go in' he said not looking up from his computer. Beatrice knocked before walking in. 'Miss Rivet what can I do for you today?' He asked as she sat down. 'I was wondering about colleges, I have already gotten an application but I don't know many other good colleges around here. Since I will hopefully be finishing school next semester' she told the principal. He nodded walking over to a filing cabinet and pulling out a few applications. 'Here these are the ones they need to be in by November to me or back to the colleges' he said handing her the applications. She thanked him and walked out.

Beatrice went to her first class and started doing her criteria. She went to the library art recess and lunch to fill out some of the applications. She went home with Debbie and went back to the Gallagher's. 'Hey can you help me with the work' Debbie asked. Bea nodded and explained easily how to do the work. At 5 Bea went home to check on Mickey. Ian left the prison with his mom Monica that was a complete manic.

-2 days later-

Ian returned home from going off with Monica and got back on his meds. Frank ran off with some dying doctor and Sammie was still no where to be found. Beatrice sat on the porch watching Mickey and Ian speak. It didn't look very good as Mickey was almost crying. All of a sudden Sammie comes running down the footpath and shooting at Mickey. Mickey ran away and the two ended up getting arrested.
Now all Bea had was the Gallagher's and Kev and V. Even they were busy. Kev and V with the babies, the Gallagher's with Carl away and Ian getting back. She needed to go to college so she could get a well paying job. Mostly she needed to get away from all the memories that haunted her.
