The Storm & The Rainbow
I saw the storm brewing in the distance.
The dark clouds rolled in, completely covering the peaceful summer blue sky.
The storm hit hard, the downpour and the winds destroying everything in its path.
Lightning flashed as if proud to illuminate their combined wake of destruction.
Thunder boomed as if announcing its merriment of the whole show below.
Time stood still awhile.
Melancholy was like a blanket covering everything.
Endless tears dripped.
And hope blossomed when a ray of sunlight broke through.
At last, the rainbow was seen, spreading immense joy everywhere.
"The greater your storm, the brighter your rainbow."
