The Journey Home
As we bypass the large planet of Jupiter, Anna asks a question I've been too scared to bring up myself.
"So what're we going to do when we get home?"
"I..." I stumble for words, my heart feeling like it's exploding in my chest, having so many feelings and thoughts all at once, and not releasing them. "Listen Anna, I do love you, and what happned was real... But I still have my wife and kids back home."
"I know..." She sighs sadly, looking away.
"If only we could've met in another life..." I say sadly, "Things would've been different."
