I lock my phone after seeing all of the comments about the picture I posted of me and my best friend Chris, we've been besties since we were young
But he doesn't know that I've liked him more than friends since 6th grade....
"Hey I gotta get back to my house for the party tonight your still coming right?" Chris says as he stands from my couch in my living room bringing me out of my thoughts,
"Uh yeah what time?" I ask standing up as well
"Around 8 ish but be there by 7:30 so you can help me get the alcohol out I gotta run bye B" he waves walking out my front door
I sigh and start to get ready ahead of time considering it was already 6:30
•At The Party•
I get to Chris's apartment at around 7:35 and there was already tons of people here
I look around for Chris but stop in my tracks to see him lead some random girl upstairs
I can't be mad at him he doesn't know that I like him more than a friend but it still stabs my heart every time I see him hook up with some random girl
I gotta get him out of head....
I head over to get a drink and down 2 of them very quickly at this point I'm 99% drunk and dancing with some random Penetrator guy
I grind myself against him and next thing I know I'm backed against some wall making out with him
Then all of a sudden our lips detached and I open my eyes to see a very angry Chris holding the collar of the boy I was kissings shirt
"Get outta here" Chris sternly says to the boy
He instantly wonders away
"Hey! Rude" I say irritated he ruined my fun
"Come here" Chris says annoyed grabbing my arm and pulling me into a empty hall way
"What are you doing B?!" He asks slightly raising his voice
"I'm just having fun!" I defend my emotions mixed with alcohol only made things worse
I was mad that he ruined that for me I don't barge into his hook up sessions
"Your making out with random guys that's not fun thats slutty Beatrice!" He yells
"I only do it to get my mind of you!" I yell back
Shit... What did I just do
I look deep into Chris's eyes searching for any kind of emotion but the only thing was shock across his face
Tears well up in my eyes and I run out of the house leaving Chris standing there
I knew he wouldn't feel the same way what was I thinking.....
