My Angel

An angel

(Genji pov)

The ground around me began to feel warm as my crimson blood spread across it. Filling in all the gaps in the wooden flooring. My dying green eyes left partly open stared up at the high ceiling above me.

The shadowy figure of my brother Hanzo stood towering over me. My vision was fading as I saw him covered in blood. My blood.

He dropped his sword to the ground beside me. It's sound stretched and echoed in my ears as it rattled next to me.

Hanzo stared down at me with a harsh but sad tone before turning sharply away and leaving me for dead.

He thinks I'm dead? Done for. But I'm not! I still hung on tightly to the last pieces of life, my breathing had stopped but I was still here. Alive.

I could feel my power holding on to me. The dragon inside me was refusing to let me go to my death. I felt my head fade back and forth out of a dream..

My vision began to fade into a dark dead black... But I didn't want to die! Not now! My eyes strained suddenly as a bright golden light shone over me.

It felt warm and comforting as I lay their clinging on to life by the end of a tiny thread. I could almost feel my soul leaving my body as I focused on a stunning figure that leant down over my body.

An angel? She was beautiful, with gorgeous blond hair, stunning wings and a loving face. She seemed perfect in every way to me as a bright glow appeared from around me.

I could feel a surge of some sort of energy pass through my body and light up the ground around me.

From behind her magnificent glow I could see some more figures pass us. Some stopping to talk to her and others ran quickly passes with guns.

As my eyes strained I felt a sudden sleep overtake me... My eyes blacked out and I felt numb all over... am I dead?......

I felt noting as I drifted into a deep sleep. I could hear distant sounds of voices echoing around me as I slept unconsciously. I felt like I was drifting through soft glowing clouds or a smooth and slow river.

I wasn't sure how long I was stuck in this. It seemed to go on forever. Stuck in a continuous loop of numbness and drifting. But it seemed like forever...

After a while i heard a small sound begin to stretch into my ears. It seemed to be a female voice, soft and loving.

"Genji.....Genji..." 

I felt a sudden realisation as I could clearly hear a woman speaking to me. But just was unable to move anything, or see anything. I couldn't even speak.

I felt my eyes begin to tear up slightly as my body seemed to be in an uncomfortable situation and it was trying to reject it.

"Hello genji, stay calm for me ok?" The voice seemed clearer now as my senses began to grow stronger and back to their normal selves again.

"I will explain everything in a moment but first we need you not to struggle ok?" Her voice was beautiful and floated clearly through my ears as I tried my best to listen.

I remained confused and slightly scared as I had no control over my own body. It was a horrible feeling.

Time seemed to speed up after that as I remained awake but without any vision. I could always hear the woman's voice around me as she talked to others.

She said I was badly wounded and that my injuries were extremely severe. She told me that they were going to design me a new body... this confused me and worried me as I was unable to reply as my voice had not fully recovered....

I didn't know who she was or what had happened to me... I thought I died! But I feel as if I had to trust her...
