after we finished eating, we linked arms and set off again to the furniture section of the store. we were mostly quiet but every now and again jimin would break the silence with little exclamations or comments about the furniture.
"yoongi this chair looks like shit it think it would really suit you!" he smiled and dodged quickly as i went to smack his arm. i took his hand and held it tightly as we walked through the family living room section.
thoughts of jimin and i living together rushed through my mind, clouding my vision and making my skin feel strange, almost tingly. i shake my head slightly as if it would aid me to ridding my head of these thoughts.
"jiminie with all this furniture and everything in this store i could basically move in with you" i laugh quietly. jimin stops suddenly and slowly turns his head to look into my eyes, his gaze burning into mine like fire and lightning.
"hyung, hyung, hyung!" jimin starts his sentence out whispering but gets louder as he reaches his final word. "yes jimin?" i question as he smiles widely. "you wanna move in, with me?" he asks, smiling even wider and brighter than i'd ever seen (if that was even possible).
"uh" i trail off slightly unsure of how to answer his eager question. "let's go!" he squeaks and drags me by the hand to the bedding section. "which bed cover and sheets do you want? i already have a double bed so you don't need to worry about buying a new one!" he points out all the different patterns and colours.
"yoongs! what about this headboard and this cute bedding for the guest room?". "i love it princess" jimin's eyes light up and i swear to god i could see the universe in his iris', a infinite amount of bright stars shining and burning simultaneously.
"really? you really love it?" his hair fell across his eyelids as he tilted his head questioningly. "of course i do angel" i smile softly and he giggles at my words as crimson floods his soft cheeks.
jimin continues to shuffle around the store, his eyes alight with excitement as he picks out furniture and decorations. whenever he asks me anything i always smile and say yes, it's honestly the hardest hing to say no to him and his chubby cheeks, fluffy hair and brilliant eyes.
but it didn't matter how long it took to shop or how much we had to walk, jimin never once let go of my hand. my cheeks felt warm as i thought about his hand in mine.
even though we have been together for a while i still feel the same as i did when we first got together. filled with butterflies and quiet smiles. but now, in this moment, i am loving him more than i ever have.
jimin turns to me and smiles. "i'm so happy yoongi" he sighs contentedly, looking at our full shopping cart. "i'm so in love with you" i blurt out, immediately slapping my hand over my mouth in embarrassment. i hear a soft squeal and i shift my vision to see jimin hiding his cheeks with his sleeves.
"can i tell you a secret hyung?" he mutters into his sleeve. he takes a step towards me, his lips nearing my ear and his hand shielding his lips from the rest of the world.
"i'm so in love with you yoongi"
