With every pay check, Tyla had my ass out shopping for our babygirl, ooing & aweing about every thing. It was about 3 weeks left before she moved so I still didn't know what I was about to do.
I went to my dad office to get some advice because I hadn't talked to him about it yet.
" So what you think I should do pops ?" I say to him sitting in his office chair.
" After you were born, Nicey and I was still real young, she had just turned 17 & I was 18. As a gift my parents got us a condo & paid the rent up until we were on our feet, cause we was young & dumb, like yall, your mother & I may can help you out like that. The only difference was your mama wasn't just somebody I slept with, I loved her ." My dad said. I never knew this story but it was very helpful.
" So yall gone help me out ?" I said.
" Yeah, we can do that, only if it'll make Tyla stay, you sure you wanna live with her ?" He asked.
" I wanna live with my baby, so I'll just have to tolerate her." I respond.
My dad laughs at my response.
" How work going ?" He ask.
" I hate it, that job really for a female man, wish I can be working here, this is a man's job " I say walking around his office.
" It really is, I hated it to when my dad made me quit school to work, so I was doing this while getting my GED online. I wanted to quit, but your mom was pregnant & needed me, when your grandad made me the owner I knew I was a man then. I was hoping to leave them to you when you graduate." He says chuckling while telling me this.
" Why won't you ?" I asked
" I figured you were going on to be a football star, & I wanted you to have a chance to focus on that & not get pressured into it like I did growing up." He responds.
" What about now ?" I asked.
" Now you got too much going on, I want you to focus & figure everything out, I know you still hung up on football,you need to be getting that back. Maybe this is Jonas goal here " he says.
He was right. Growing up I watch my dad stress over this same job, coming home late hours & always tired. I didn't want that ,it was a promising job, but football was my dream, my life, my whole heart next to Ashley.

I still didn't care what my parents thought about Kyson because I know his heart. I refuse to let anyone push him away from me. Graduation was in less than 3 weeks & I'm leaving the day of to go off with Kyson dispite what they thought. Today was the day that Kyson was leaving & going back to Miami. Seems like 2 days went so quickly.
