" No problem, hopefully our kids will stay together this time" I said eyeing them.
" Hopefully " she said with a grin.
She walked away with Ashley father & then Ashley came over to me.
" He ma, how you holding up ?" She asked.
" Better, I'm just happy to be back home, in Cali, yall moving back here ?" I responded.
" My mom and dad is getting our old house back, and I'm using my savings to find a place in Miami to be closer to Kain, I do CNA so it won't be hard to find a nursing home to work in down there." Ashley says.
" I'm so glad yall back together, your the only one that's ever been right for my baby." I say to her.
" I know ma, hopefully he'll act right this time" she says glancing back at him.
" He better ! When yall leaving ?" I asked.
" Tomorrow." She responded.
JULIAN
I was in my office cathing up on my work when Jonas comes in & takes a seat in one of my chairs.
" Wassup son ?" I asked.
" Nothing, bored. What you doing?" He asked.
" Organizing some papers" I respond.
" Can I help ?" He asked.
" Yeah, come on " I say handing him a stack.
He studied one of the papers then scrunched his face up in confusion.
" What do this even mean ?" He asked.
" Well, I run a stocking company, so basically we buy imported goods, & sell it to other companies, sometimes ones over seas. This paper is our progress of sells over time." I explained
" Did you have to go to college to understand this stuff ?" He asked.
" I got the easy way in buy grandpa Perry " I say chuckling.
" He let you have his business ?" He asked.
" Yeah, just like his dad did for him." I responded.
" So next is Kain ?" He asked.
" Kain is gonna be a NFL star, he won't have the time." I responded.
" So me ?" He asked.
" That's right, but I want you to go to college first, don't learn the way I had too." I responded.
He just nodded is head and smiled at me.
DEMETRIA
I layed in my old bed thinking about life, debating on starting new with Kashmir or staying with Kyson.
I got up, took my meds and then jogged downstairs to talk to my mother. I explained the entire situation to her.
" Well babygirl, you gotta follow your heart. Don't keep leading this Kashmir dude on knowing he likes you, but your not over Kyson. & Don't keep letting Kyson wait around for you. If you want him get him, before he gets someone else, personally I think you've let him suffer long enough give him another chance, sit down and talk to him and tell him how you feel. No arguing though.
I took my mother's advice and decided to text Kyson asking to meet up after I get back home.
" Mama , it's something else I wanted to talk to you about ?" I say.
