I had just a few more hours to be in Cali & I was ending it off being with Ashley, I made sure I was at the spot at least 10 minutes til 8. Since Kyson came, Demetria flew back with him earlier & My uncle , his kids & wife left this morning on a flight also. Ashley walks in looking beautiful as usual & she takes a seat.
" You look nice " I say as she sits.
" Thank you " she says.
" So how's your pops ?" I ask.
" He's alright " she responds.
" So you know I'm going back to Miami tonight right ?" I say.
" Yeah, & I'm going back to D.C." She says.
" I just .....can I get your number back Ashley, I just want us to get back right." I say to her.
" Kain, I can't go there with you again...." She says.
" Ashley while not, it's not my kid & I been paying for my mistake ever since I made it." I say.
" It's deeper than that Kain ! Y- you don't know, what I had to go through..." she snaps.
" What you mean ? " I ask looking at her concerned.
" Kain I felt alone, there was nobody I felt comfortable enough to talk to about this, & I regret It everyday" She says as tears start to form in her eyes.
" Ashley, you not telling me nothing." I say to her.
" I was pregnant, the same time as Tyla, 2 days after I moved to D.C. I got an abortion & a week later my friends was telling me Tyla was Sneaking around with Calvin the same time you were." She says quickly wiping her tears away.
I made my way to the other side of the table where she sat & put my arms around her.
" I'm sorry " Is all I could say, I was lost for words. At this moment I was having mixed emotions, I felt sadness & anger bundled up in one knote.
" You should've told me, I could've had a child of my own " I say to her.
" I don't wanna talk about this anymore, I just wanna leave now" She says getting her things together.
I understood it was a touchy subject so I was just gone leave it alone for now.
I walk her to her car.
" I need your number Ashley " I say putting my hands in my pocket.
She holds out her hand & I place my phone in her hand, she types her number in, get in her car & then pulls off.
I look at my phone & laugh at the name she saved her self as. It read: Babymama💙

I was working, but for my lunch break I made my way to Kim house. Ever since I found out Kyson wasn't Bryson son, I couldn't shake the feeling that he still could've been mine. I need answers.
" Jared ? Wh-what you doing here ?" She says.
" Can I come in ?" I ask.
She steps aside & let's me in.
I explain what was on my mind.
" Yeah, there is a possibility " She says.
" Kim what the hell, you specifically told me he wasn't when I was locked up" I said to her.
" I was getting things right with Bryson at the time & I wanted him to be the father bad but he wasn't" She says.
" If it ain't him, then it must be me" I said.
" I was sleeping with anther man at the time off & on, he could be the father too" she says.
Why am I not surprised.
" What's his name ?" I ask.
" It's not important, just get a test done & see if your he father" she says.
We share a few more words & then I leave. As I was riding headed back to work & I stopped at a stop light, I glanced at my surroundings & I see Melanie sitting at a table eating with some dude, he turns to the side & I recognize him right away. It was the gaurd Todd who gaurded her when prisoners go into her office, the same one who guarded her when I was locked up. My focus was broken by the horn behind me blowing to tell me the light was green, I press on the gas & head back to work. When I get there I text her phone.
Me: where the kids ?
Wife: Demetria house
Me: where you ?
Wife: home.
She lied in the last message, which just made me madder.

After I got off work I go home to drop off my things , Melanie was at home with the kids.
" Hey , how was work ?" She says playing with Jamela.
" Cool, I'll be back " I say leaving out.
" You just got here " he says aggravated. I ignored her comment & left for Demetria house.
I knocked at the door & Kain answered.
" Wassup unc? " He says letting me in.
" Yoo, Kyson home ?" I ask.
" Nah, he at work " He responds.
" Good, let me use the bathroom" I respond jogging upstairs.
I get up there & I look for his brush, I grab some hairs from that, & to make sure I had his DNA, I just stole his whole toothbrush.
After that I head to the clinic to get our DNA tested & they told me they'll mail me the results soon. After that I go home.
" I'm glade you back, get her I'm about to get in the shower" She says placing our daughter in my arms.
She gets in the shower & moments later I hear her phone buzz, I didn't hesitate at all to pick it up. I go through her messages with Todd the prison gaurd. & I feel extremely hurt. What I had read was shocking. I swab both Jaycin & Jamela mouth place it in separate zip lock bags. I put Jamela in her car seat & make sure Jaycin is buckled in & then I go back to the clinic.

" Where were you ?" She ask as I walk in with the kids.
" We had got some ice cream & new toys !" Jaycin says as he runs to her.
" Maybe I wanted ice cream " she says looking at me with a smile.
" Go wash up Jaycin" I say to him walking past Melanie headed for our room.
" Where your wedding ring ?" Melanie asked as she followed me to the room.
I tossed that bitch out the window.
" My pocket." I respond.
" Mhm okay, why you not wearing it ?" She ask.
" Cause it don't mean shit " I say.
" What ?" She says looking at me confused.
" I'm not arguing in front of the kids." I respond.
She throws her hands up, rolls her eyes & storms out of the room.
